USB Stick which format

Post by gman »

Hi everyone!

First timer I'm afraid, so watch out!

I have recently bought a Joggler after looking everywhere for something to replace a wall calendar and something that is dead easy for my wife to use to organise family life

Now i have been trying to put the PNPIII OS on it using this thread http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=2&t=555

I have tried reflashing it then installing the PNP III on the Joggler but nothing changes at all. Nothing extra is installed

The Joogler was off ebay and it should have come with all these extra Apps but it is still on the o2 OS as far as I can tell:

Firmware 8686.S3(boardrev:2) [ID=9870]
Software 26635.S3 Jun 25 2010:14:30:20

I reckon I must have a Pre-updated version and NOT a post updated version..Is this Correct?

All I can think may be the problem is that I se a Mac and I need to re format the USB stick. If this is the case using DiskUtility what format do I change it to ExFat or MS-DOS (FAT)?

Thanks for any help

I use FAT32. Some USB sticks do not work - it's a bit trial and error.
"EVERY DAY I'M JOGGLERING!"

Tinkering with Jogglers since Feb '10 thanks to PMJ, Jogtools, PnP & sqpOS;
Gave something back Feb '12 to Apr '14 with PnP Mk II & PnP III;
Finally 'completed' PnP III Apr '15!
