Bricked joggler internal Memory problem solved

Long time lurker first time sharer ok I got 3 jogglers and 1 has always been a pain after reading the previous thread on gparting the internal memory etc I thought I would give it a go.
The joggler in question is very sensitive and has notoriously crashed and refused to boot off known good usb sticks etc
I followed the instructions in the previous thread and had a positive result of finally being able to boot the original OS but it lasted about 30 mins before it wouldn't boot again.
I had a chance conversation with a guy about efi and the instability of them with network devices in his case enterprise tape system and how he managed to avoid downtime with formating the primary file system driver for the efi chip.
Ok lots of words there but effectively the efi chip has an inbuilt preference for a file system in the joggler case its FAT in the enterprise devices it was FAT 12
So I decided to format the internal memory as 1 single fat partition and then rebuild with roobarb excellent tools and low and behold not only does the joggler work but I think its faster to boot as well I will put up a video comparing two of them side by side
Hoping this helps other with naughty jogglers need further info reply to this thread and I help as quickly as I can

I used Linux mint I tend to install a vnc server just to make it easier to run from a pc and then formatted with gnome disk util also forgot to say used roobarbs tools with the repart file options and have just finished installing PNP 3 very nice work just investigating a upnp client in a swf file my actionscript is shakey but its got my attention at the moment
