Streaming audio from Joggler to Apple Airport express

A few days ago, using this guide (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/apples-air ... untulinux/), I managed to send an audio stream from my joggler to air port express (via ubuntu and xubuntu) - but when it first started squeezeplay (running into ubuntu/xubuntu) the sound was not audible. Any sound started within the operating system was reproduced by airport express, but the sound was not initiated by squeezeplay, even from the speakers.
According to you, with some modifications, you can send an audio stream from joggler to airport express?

I guess you need to get squeezeplay to use pulseaudio - sadly I'm not sure how this done

Yes, I used pulseaudio to send the sound from joggler (ubuntu / xubuntu) to airport express, but with the squeezeplay did not work.

I Imagine squeezeplay is using alsa directly and bypassing pulseaudio. One thing you could try is to uncomment "/usr/share/alsa/pulse.conf" in "/usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf". Or try and set up pulseaudio to use an alsa sink: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-91 ... art-0.html
