My Joggler has been working great, mainly as a photoframe for about 2 years. Last night my son unplugged it from the mains, and when I plugged it back in, it's stuck on the squeezeplay splash screen. I can ping it, but I can't reach it by SSH.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix it? I don't know if I can face going through the whole setup again!
Don't think it's possible , is your Squeezeplay on internal or usb stick ?
I know it doesn't help but when you set it up again put it on a USB stick and take an 'image " of it ,store it safe for when it happens again , sorry I'm not much help he he .
Yup you are out of luck if you do not have an image copy of the USB stick. You can try to do a high/low level repair of the USB stick. That said if it is already trashed then you may not be able to recover it.
You can if you wanted to is re low level and high level format the internal MMC if you want to use this instead.
That said if it is beyond it's lifespan then it will be a band aid fix.
Note that this methodology is not easy to do on the Joggler. The software I have used is very old and runs in DOS only and I have used it on microSD cards / USB sticks but never have attempted to do the Joggler MMC.
A few years ago build a little box using a Pogo Plug - Seagate Dockstar with two USB sticks and running debian OS / software. It lasted only about 4 months so updated both USB drives to SSD and today it is still running 24/7 with the same SSD drives (> 5 years now).

O2 Jogglers running EFI Ubuntu / Squeezeplayer

It shouldn't take long to write a new image to a USB stick and you will get help on here
Android works well too if you want to give that a try .
Good luck ....
