Newly aquired Joggler has update problem

Post by wudang »

Just picked up a Joggler off Gumtree (note to self check next time if house is smoke free - I need Nicorette patches everytime after use)

It's running 6853 firmware (boots with OpenPeak splash ) but won't auto update to the latest firmware - seems to be a not unusual issue. I've installed P'N'P primararily to run SqueezePlayer but I know I'll be tempted to add more apps once I've got over my first problem.

Although SqueezePlay is showing as installed nothing has been added to the home screen. I reckon I should have sorted out the old firmware issue first but the link I've found to re-image is dead. Does anybody know where I can find a live link.

The dead link is; http://o2.openpeak.co.uk/firmware/app-o ... eimage.tgz

Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

all the links to app-o2flash-24514.8353-S2-f1-reimage.tgz seem to be dead now. It's not clear whether they have simply timed out or if there is some sort of copyright issue.

Can anyone help with with a link to app-o2flash-24514.8353-S2-f1-reimage.tgz (or a later version) ?

In the longer term I'd be happy to mirror the file if this helps others.

Solved:

Found a later version here:

http://o2.openpeak.co.uk/firmware/app-o ... eimage.tgz

It's likely that OpenPeak have just killed those versions off now - that later version is the only one I'm aware of that works these days.
