This seems to be more responsive according to testers.
Telnet in and type in:
Code: Select all
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77534245/installupnpv2.sh
sh ./installupnpv2.sh
rm installupnpv2.sh
It's from the OpenFrame2 version of the OpenPeak operating system and should launch from a purple icon.
Is this a new app as opposed to overwriting the existing one as I now have 2 icons? (2 icons not a problem as I'll move/remove the old one).
Yes, it is a new one so the old one can be moved/removed if you so desire!
Yipee! Post 600 in the thread!

Add Poweroff option to SWF Manager

EDIT: You can now add a SHUTDOWN option to SWF Manager scripts.
Telnet in and type the following:
Code: Select all
cd /media/appshop/script
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77534245/SHUTDOWN-CAUTION.sh
chmod a+x SHUTDOWN-CAUTION.sh
The SHUTDOWN option will now be available in SWF Manager->Scripts
I'll add a script to install a Shutdown icon to SWF Manager too in case you want to add it to your desktop.

Excellent Dave

can this be added as an icon in the main build? Or does it have to be done by the swf method .

A shutdown icon can now added via a swf script:
Telnet in and type
Code: Select all
cd /media/appshop/script
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77534245/install_shutdown.sh
chmod a+x install_shutdown.sh
Then you can go to SWF Manager->Script and run the install_shutdown.sh script from there to add your icon. It also changes the 'Screen off' icon to try and avoid confusion between icons.

Build in progress:
v3.048 Updates Logitech Media Server from v7.7.1 to v7.7.2
Fix wrong reference to busybox in startup scripts linked to LMS scanning - is this causing people's scanning problems?
Set Logitech Media Server to autoupdate plugins (when server is restarted)
Logitech Media Server plugins (BBC iPlayer radio) available from the first boot (no need to launch LMS web interface to restart)
Restart Logitech Media Server option added to SWF Launcher->Shell
Squeezeplay default menu items tidied up and include iPlayer plugins by default
Slightly improved 'blue' Screen Off icon added (so red one can be used for Power Off if desired)
Just doing final tests, but looking OK at the moment.

I just wondering... if it's possible to have something like reminder? I will explain, what I would like to have.
It's working Google calendar, but it's (in my opinion) not working in background - so it's not really helpful.
I have a mostly working google calendar screensaver for the joggler.
It displays date & start time & title of the next 5 or 6 events in your calendar.
If that is of interest to people i can continue to tidy it up and make it available.

Ok.
I have solved the authentication problems i've been having with flash connecting to google calendar (All worked fine on flashplayer and then moved it to the joggler and it all broke).
I need to tidy up the code and then add some way of reading user/pwd info from a file (just found where the google calendar app stores it so i can probably use that).
Then i'll post something for people to try.
Should be within the next 2 weeks depending on time i can work on it.

If you're mean the PnP III download, the all the contents of the .zip file should be copied onto the USB drive. It's a collection of files and folders.

Update the PnP III icon set

v3.048 RELEASED

The current version (v3.048) can be downloaded from here. (updated 8th September 2012)
New to v3.048:
Updated Logitech Media Server from v7.7.1 to v7.7.2
Fixed wrong reference to busybox in LMS startup script relating to media scanning
Sets Logitech Media Server to autoupdate plugins (when server is restarted)
Logitech Media Server plugins (BBC iPlayer radio) available from the first boot after install
(no need to launch LMS web interface to restart)
Restart Logitech Media Server option added to SWF Launcher->Shell
Squeezeplay default menu items tidied up and include iPlayer plugins by default
Slightly improved 'blue' Screen Off icon added (so red one can be used for Power Off if desired)
That'll have to do for fiddling and tinkering for now I think! I'll still be about here though to try and answer questions (and probably ask a few too!). I'll also be looking out for the exciting prospect of the Google Calendar screensaver!
