Pete, I have 3 with O2 Joggler engraved on the back and 1 with Openpeak. I still have another one coming somewhere but it looks like it got lost in transit. In talks with the ebay seller to get a replacement. I'm not certain which version it will be.

Heheh.. ewf up and running on the Joggler using the ntldr and ewf files from the "Chinese" image as well as the various reg settings required. The system booted OK with the files in place without the reg tweaks at first and then rebooted with ewf enabled once the reg tweaks were in place.

Its because in the uk they use the internet to send text messages, which i suppose might be seen as communications device.
ewfmgr.exe in your Windows\System32 folder.
ewf.sys in your Windows\System32\drivers folder.

If they are not there would be interested to know how they enabled ewf, as they need to sit there to be loaded by the os.

I already have all the files needed, but wanted to check them against each other to see if they are the same.

Also do they have a pagefile running?

Dan, the ewf files are unmodified so use your existing. EFI is setup a little different with grub and the ntldr is modified. I'm attaching the contents of the reg file to install once you have the files in place:

Still can't get a joggler to hibernate though. Wonder if we're missing something in the Tiny XP that nevi used. I enable hibernation, I click the button, and then... NOTHING

hibernation would be good to with horm, hibernate once resume many, would make boot times real fast, although maybe hard to implement on the device as it has no buttons, would need to have a keyboard or mouse plugged all the time.

Yes Pete, I'm still using Mevi's first build (Which is still the lightest weight and fastest in IMHO) using the Chinese ewf files. I just need to find a way to enable HORM and then 1 joggler goes in a car

Thanks manxam. Ideally would make for a good carpc with EWF enabled.

Here using first gen Atom Intel boards for two carpcs tapped into the navigation systems. A smaller footprint carpc would be nice though.

Are you purchasing the refurbished Jogglers from the Ebay seller selling them for 70 UK pounds?

Just wondering, cuz its still a bit high at 80 (70 plus 10) UK pounds with delivery.

One was purchased locally (Canada) while 4 (still awaiting one) were purchased through that seller on ebay for $60 + 9.95. Ended up being about $105 CDN per. While it's a lot considering what some people purchased them for, I can't think of another device this versatile for that sort of price.

The seller on ebay has been fantastic and they've typically taken 5 days to arrive. One appears to have been lost in transit though.

Those working ewf files make things interesting, once I find a switch to write the cached files Will most probably include it in the build

I was thinking of buying one of those as Joggler #5. I like these way better than the Chumby's.

My current "in wall" footprint is big with a separate TS now Liliput monitor and a very small in a case Atom based CPU. (cables, power, network is a PITA).

So they are in good shape refurbished and all eh? Cases and glass are not scratched or anything?

Yup so far have paid 50 uk each for my 4 Jogglers. Around last Christmas picked up 3 8" Chumby's for $59/ 1 3.5 for $39 each on sale.
