Anyhoo, I still have my reflasher, openpeak update and pnpIII sticks and am guessing I need to either reflash or update first in order to get pnpIII on there?
Yeah, either use roobarb's reflasher or the openpeak one and start again.

I must admit, I've grown to like the Openpeak version as you get two more icons on the home page and one more on subsequent pages! Some of the older blue app buttons look a little out of place though!

Hi, sorry for this basic question but once this has installed to the Joggler, can the USB stick be removed or does it have to stay in like for the Android OS's etc.?
If it can be removed, can the joggler be rebooted without loosing this enhancement.
Thanks,
Ian

Once installed, the stick can be removed. It just adds to the original OS so it (and any app settings) survive rebooting!

I've been using android on my joggler for a while now but yesterday I decided to upgrade to PnP3 ,no problems with it at all ,
but I'm having trouble trying to create a samba share , I want my joggler to see my music collection on my Windows7 PC,
not really to sure what I'm doing but I've tried a load of commands from the forum (substituting my own details)
but just cant get it to work ,
when I go to the settings page of Logitech Media Server , go to media folders and browse I just cant get my PC to show up , thinking I'm doing something very wrong
Is Samba already installed or do I have to install it myself ?

Why is so difficult to set up a share with this , I've got 3 other devices with shares that work well , hell I've even got it on my phone,
but just cannot get it to work , I've been at this for ages now
I'm assuming that with PnP3 installed it be some variation of
/bin/mount -t cifs //10.10.10.10\\music /media/YOURMOUNTPOINT -o user=auser,password=apass,iocharset=utf8

Just unzip the downloaded PnP III file to a USB stick. It'll have 2 or 3 directories and a handful of files. If you have Windows XP, you should just be able to go to Start->Run and type in
telnet to open telnet. With the USB stick in the Joggler type open xxx.xxx.x.x (replacing x with the Joggler's IP address from Settings->Network on the Joggler). You cannot install PnP III on an OpenPeak update without Telnet!

Have you looked at the thread at
http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewto ... 2&start=20
and the post at

The later PnP III builds reverted back to the older busybox as the newer version broke networking a bit.

Hello, I have the most current version of squeezeplay (on PnPIII) ....every now and then it tells me it's playing a track but there is no sound and no movement or song length on the timebar (or whatever that bar is called). Last night 5 reboots to get it to work - the joggler had been off earlier in the day so this wasn't something that happened whilst it was idle. Roobarb suggested i post here - any ideas as to what might be causing a problem?

I am writing the reflash to usb stick using windisk32 When I try to open the usb it says stick is formatted. Should I be using another programme to write to the stick.
I then need to transfer the flash script, I am getting there but slowly.
