Joking right???

240v wall-wart & water?

Then the fact that water on the screen makes the touch-screen very dicey...

Why on earth would you???

Yeah, sealing the actual; unit would not be that hard, but the power supply might give issues.
Fullscreen squeezeplay windows, server 2003, foshiz mini v1 and v2, (and a few broken builds) :P so far.....
more to come!!

Ha ha ha, love it, you wouldn't have the power supply any where near the bathroom .
Possibly power taken from an adjacent room with only the screen visible flush mounted somewhere obviously not near the shower or bath ;-)
I have seen a few mentions of bathroom jogglers for music etc but nothing from someone that's actually done it.
I've seen flush mounted TVs in posh houses bathrooms recently, very expensive I would think, this would be a cheap alternative methinks.

I was going to give this a try after the success in the kitchen, but didn't have the time in the end. There's an empty spot above the towel rail that would be perfect. :)

I like the idea - I'm currently installing a toaster in the bathroom right above the bath so i can have my morning toast while soaking.

Good idea - the shower in my kitchen is next to the toaster & it makes the toast a bit soggy so I might give this a go

Well, thinking of moving a Joggler to the master bathroom. Ideally mounted into a wall. Here the room is about 4 meters by 7 meters or so. Its kind of a room in a room thing off other room in room things (walk in closets).

I want to mostly utilize it to stream internet audio (like say the BBC) or my music.

I want to keep this simple.

So the choices of OS are O2 (PnP MkII), Android ICS or Linux (Umbuntu et al).

I currently have audio as its an audio sub zone (layered down a bit from the house to the master bedroom to the master bath).

I will take the audio out to the bathroom speakers. I can provide an in wall network interface or just utilize the wireless.

What would you guys recommend as the fastest interface / software and means?

Has to meet with WAF though; she hates when I start cutting holes in walls.

I tried to cut out the middleman and just put the bare ends of a kettle lead into the bath to heat the water. I just can't understand why it keeps tripping the power off, though.

Going to put a screwdriver in place of the main RCD. Do you think that will keep the current flowing? ;)
