Yeah, my mother is French; and decided to "stick me" with that name; born in US though. All of the cousins are there...

Will post another W2003 image with TS and other drivers running. BTW here's my display right now on the Joggler. First screen is main screen and second one is a live frame buffer capture of 4 Chumby's running Linux X windows. Will be doing something similiar with the Jogglers for "live" views. I am not really an artists; such that my screens are functional yet not really eye candy.

I've not tried the WLAN card with the W2003 image.

But you can try to enable the SSID broadcast initially and enter a new access point; with all of the configuration; shut off the Peap stuff if you see it; then once you are attached; disable the SSID broadcast on your Access point; see if that works.

I've attached my setup with the SSID turned off. Yours should be similiar? BTW the Ubiquiti is more of an outdoor access point on steroids pushing about 1 watt RF output and now available for around $50 USD. You can even drop DD-WRT on it. It'll actually let me get to my AP from any of the little subdivision as the AP/antenna are in the attic.

BTW for those interested; the price of the 8GB USB SSD drives has gone from $ 25 to $21 USD with free shipping from HKG.

Yep, I've been struggling with this also.

WEP and WPA works fine. But it doesn't seem to support WPA2. Still trying though..

WPA2 - Maybe the drivers but the encryption does not seem to be available when adding manualy.

Time - time does not update because the wrong date is there ( i assume because we dont have an internal battery) , im trying http://www.timesynctool.com/

Service- Still trying to find what service keeps popping up saying its failed to start ? , all the ones that are automatic have started for me ... ? but still get the message .

Great OS btw ! runs very fast for me .

actually using it atm to run a security camera feed with clockx in the top right corner for time .

Many thanks for all the help and effort

if you need any help configuring the OS ( do it in my job day in day out) let me know .

I think the wpa2 error is a server 2003 issue, as I can't seem to find any info. Only info I can find is about xp suppporting it through a hotfix that ms released. Maybe the answer is in sp2 for 2003 as that applies the same hotfix for 2003

There is a registry key value change that allows windows to sync the time no matter how far in the past the PC time is set. (Current value is quite low)

The time thing is also related to how fast the computer tries to sync the time relative to how fast its connecting to the network.

I use Tardis (years now) and internally sync to a "time server" on my network that uses GPS. I ended up installing a 3rd party freeware application with a delay in a script that checks first if the network is up.

Here's a quick read on the W2003 WPA2 stuff:

http://darrenwatt.com/applying-wpa2-via ... rver-2003/

I also forgot to state that the W2003 image didn't have SP2 as far as I could tell.

MS Technet mentions the update with SP2.

Looks to be a pita to update from what I see googling.

yep. Saw that when Googling but thought that was just about using the policy editor to set a policy for it.
I also thought the tiny pc version of 2003 had sp2 already. Will take a look again when i get home.

Hmmm, so it is only SP1. Something for me to investigate there then, let's see how difficult to get SP2 on.

I currently run SP2 on all of the W2003 boxes here; but no wireless with W2003. Never really paid attention to space utilized with SP2 versus SP1 on W2003. The W2003 embedded with SP2 is at 3.75 Gb of space.
