Newer versions of Ubuntu?
Hiya, anyone got any newer versions of Ubuntu running on the Joggler? Running 12.0.4 LTS so far, i see version 14 has been mentioned on the forum. Any newer LTS versions working well?

Thanks, i did have a wander thru the Birdslikewires site, but couldnt locate any of the BTRFS / EXT4 images. running Ub14 is ok, but sucks with the Wifi issue im stumbling on resolving hence the lookout for any newer versions. running 22.04 on my laptop which i do like.
Re: Newer versions of Ubuntu?
Here mostly running Windows embedded and Squeezeplayer on my Openpeak devices.
I am using Windows based touchscreen software which works well called Homeseer Touch. I am also using OmniTouch Pro which works well. Very simple software originally written for Windows XP. I am also using Home Assistant which works very slow on the Jogglers.
Very modded hardware here.
1 - original Openpeak device came with a metal heat sink that covered the entire motherboard
2 - updated bios in the Realtek NIC card so that it is recognized
3 - updated WiFi USB stick
4 - For windows went to Seabios and for Linux using current release posted by Andy.
5 - these came with ZIF connectors for old IDE drives which I am using to boot from.
The above devices (~ 15) are on 24 / 7 for the last few years.

Re: Newer versions of Ubuntu?
Thanks,
Its good to see how much the kit has evolved over the years and still survives.
My slimline passive Heatsink and additional USB mods now done on my joggler. Also running a stumpy USB wifi and BT dongle inside which gives me more case space for options
Plan to use the joggler as a Ubuntu Kiosk for my Solar install hence looking for the newer ubuntu versions.
