Best OS on joggler for skype, radio, music

Post by Mike »

I have an old joggler that has mainly been running on the O2 software. I have tried android and ubuntu, but have nto got them to do what I want. What is the best OS to run if I want to be able to use the joggler for radio (mainly BBC), displaying photos as a screensaver, playing music (on a local USB stick is fine, preferably with album art and scrolling) and using skype (or similar) with an external USB webcam? Thanks.

I would say Ubuntu or Joli OS, definitely. Both are stable, feature-complete on the Joggler and well supported here and in their own off-Joggler worlds. If you've not got to grips with Ubuntu, try it on a desktop for a little while to get used to the way things work. Makes it much easier to explore, then you can learn how to set up the Joggler in exactly the way you want.
