One other thing you can do if you have more than one Joggler is the hotswap of the boot chip. It's easy but looks a bit scary.
1 - open up your Joggler - make sure the Joggler is not plugged in to any power source as you test this.
2 - remove the screws that hold the motherboard in place
3 - look at the enclosed boot chip socket on the top of the motherboard and to the right on the side of the motherboard that faces the back of the O2.
4 - practice opening the cover of the boot chip socket
5 - practice removing the boot chip and putting back in place
6 - now open the problematic Joggler - leave them both open so you can see its guts. Mark the problematic one with a piece of tape.
7 - while open remove the boot chip from the non booting Joggler
8 - start up the good joggler with it open (with a network cable plugged in to it).
9 - SSH to the good Joggler
10 - remove the good boot chip from the good Joggler while it is on. (be careful)
11 - put the non booting chip in to the boot socket of the working Joggler
12 - write a new boot flash to the boot chip
13 - remove the chip and replace it with the original booting chip
14 - put the old chip back in to the non booting Joggler
15 - power it on and see if it boots.
Thinking too the flash rewrite also writes over the boot flash but if you cannot boot in to it; it will not work.
Here too over the years have had great success with KingSpec USB SSD drives. They are sort of large and do have decent RW speeds.
Not as fast though as USB 3.0 sticks. The new SD cards are really fast now too. You can put one in a USB SD socket and try that too.

Hi Pete, seem to be tied up with other things at the moment, but will get back to the joggler in time. Thanks for your input, all this info. is useful.

Re: Dead?? Joggler
Just wondering if you managed to fix your Joggler or have you given up ?
If you are still fixing it that's great and we will see you on the forum again but if you have given up would you consider putting it up for sale as broke , i hate to think of a lovely Joggler being consigned to the scrap heap
