could do with a hand finding out whats wrong

Post by smurfsterst »

Hi all, had a good nosey round the site, top stuff. Right to the problem, got . Joggler that's refusing to boot, was a standard, UN modded one. It stopped working about a year ago, and now I want to see if I can get it working. power is on, green led on (not blinking, it's on solid) no o2 or open peak splash screen I just get a black screen, opened it up, checked all connections, all ok, checked for any slipped clips, cables, connectors, all firm and seated properly. Initially had a red led on by the chip that looks removeable, but after pulling plug and checking the WiFi board, it went out? I photo'd the main board with the leds illuminating.

I don't think there's an easy way to find anything out by looking at the lights etc.

The best bet is to make a bootable USB stick and see if the joggler will boot from it.

It's quite possible the internal memory was corrupted preventing the joggler from booting.

Later it may be possible to write to this a new installation, but for now check the health of the joggler by booting from a USB stick.

Most should work, but if it doesn't you can try a different manufacturer's stick as occasionally they are not compatible.

Depending on what you intend to use the joggler for you could start with the SqPOS, instructions for which you'll find here:
