Joggler KitKat 4.4.2 beta (24/3/14)

Hey guys, looks like just a few days ago a KitKat version was released for the Joggler. I've however not been able to get the prebuild build working.

I used win32 to copy the image to a 4gb usb pen drive but it halts at A N D R O I D root@joggler:/ #

Hmm same for me @crisdo98 hangs at the same bit , maybee it needs booted with a keyboard plugged in and something typed in at this point , ??
Can't see anywhere to leave a comment on his page either , wonder if the Dev is on here ....

We failed to notice that although precompiled it doens't appear to be plug and play ready. You need to run this script I think https://github.com/pkirchhofer/android- ... e-image.sh

Ooops I saw that but thought the image was plug and play and the underneath instructions were for people wanting to build it themselves ,
I will await a prebuilt image i think,

I compiled my own build and used the script to make an img. I'm also ending up with just a shell and no GUI running.
Same as reported before.

The old image has been marked as broken now but the new image is saying url not found hopefully he has just uploaded it and its not all there yet .

Its booting fine now.
I haven't add anything. No Play Store, Superuser doesn't seem to work fine, at least I couldnt get root granted to Xposed framework installer.

Xposed installer will not run on my properly-rooted Android Joggler 4.0 so it might be an x86 thing - have you tried another root-dependent app like Titanium Backup?

Xposed framework is working on 4.0.4 on the joggler. Well, not many compatible module but it work. XBlast Tools for 4.0.3+ is working.
Its just that the installer wont work, you need to install it manually. (Copy system/bin/app_process and /data/xposed/XposedBridge.jar from the installer apk)

Do not use the exact same steps, you need to use the right SDK version.

Any tips to getting this to boot?

I downloaded the pre-built image from today, flashing with dd and it would not boot. I can see the 4 partitions have been correctly created, and can see the data on the partitions. I'm using a class 4 micro sd card in a USB reader to boot from.
