This is Albert from the Netherlands... I've been reading a lot about the Joggler, and also been trying to make it to do what I want.
I recently bought a new-in-box Joggler of a guy in NL who flashed it with PNP III for me.
I already know that you can do almost everything with, if you only know how to talk to the thing, programme-language-wise..
I see people talking about command line etc. but I don't even know on how to get there??
Fact is that I know absolutely nothing of Linux/Ubuntu whatever

Anyway; this is what I want
- Joggler running Logitech Media Server
- play media from my NAS (Seagate BlackArmor 110 2TB)
- don't want to install LMS on the NAS (should it even be possible)
- output sound via USB DAC
- if its possible it would be nice to keep the apps but that is not necessary.
But a few questions arise:
1. on PNPIII there is a program Squeezeplay. This is only the player right?
2. when I access it via <IP-address:9000> title says "Logitech Media Server", so is it or is it not the server or is it the client?
3. If its the server; why can't I make my NAS work via settings?? I pointed out the IP address of my NAS but because of the message I get I suspect the Joggler now only has the client installed?
4. I think of the configuration:
- LMS on an usb-stick (from BirdsLikeWires)
- USB DAC
but since there is only one available port: can I just plug in a hub without coding etc, to connect stick with OS and DAC?
5. I could solder an extra USB port but my soldering qualitys aren't that good so I'd rather stay away from that option for safety reasons.
7. Or is it better to flash Squeezeplay OS instead of PNP-III? For that can run music of my NAS right?
Pffft there are so many options that I really need advice and guidance of guys/girls that know what they are doing, and from all my reading I see a lot of those on this board.. Would someone be so kind to help me what is te best option for me
Edit: I am reading the PNPIII quickstart Guide and it appears to be possible to mount a network share? I don't recall that from my menu so I guess I have an older version then 3.31.. Will check tonight..
