WiFi dropped on sleep

Post by techboy42 »

Hi all, first post here as I have just received my first joggler today. :?

I have bought it for my elderly mother to use primarily as a calendar app showing her upcoming appointments. I am connecting to the internet via WiFi and have no problem seeing her google calendar entries (once I occasionally go to 'Calendars' and then back to 'Day'). The screensaver is kicking in but it doesn't seem to go to sleep mode. Once I then tap to knock the screensaver off - I'm told that the network connection has been dropped. Is that part of the sleep mode? Should the display go black? I give it a moment and the WiFi comes back online but I'd rather it stayed on!

[software is showing as 26635.S3 (Jun 25 2010:14:30:20) which I know is old but it says that there isn't an update available. Have tried flashing OpenPeak 30300 but had problems so have left it as is for the moment]
