Bricked Joggler after install android on the internal memory

Post by ludogomez »

Hi,

I want to install android on the internal flash and I think I make a big mistake.
I format the internal flash (I create 3 partition on the disk) and I copy all the files.

Now, I have it's not possible possible to boot even on a USB. I have this text :

Code: Select all

Booting 'Android'

error: file not found.
error: you need to load the kernel first.

Failed to boot both default and failback entries

press eny key to continue...

I try the recovery method without success, I have always the same message.

Do you have an advice ?

Thanks

Use the reflashing tool in my sig, but follow the instructions in the Troubleshooting section for “The reflash system doesn’t boot properly.” The files you have copied are not looking in the right location to boot, but if you've already tried the reflash tool (you say you've tried 'the recovery method') then they're also not preferentially booting from USB, so you'll need to tell the EFI firmware to use the USB device.

It's all there in the troubleshooting bit, anyway. Good luck!

Hi,

I already used your recovery 1 time for recover the original software.

But this time, I have some trouble.

I try your method :
I plug a externel keyboard on the external port and put the usb flash on the internal port
I press escape many times
I make "fs1:" and "boot.nsh"

I try with fs0: and fs2:

but I always have the same issue except with fs2. The system do nothing.

Thanks

I have had a Joggler do this which for some reason needed me to type

Code: Select all

fs3:
followed by

Code: Select all

boot.nsh
Make sure you're typing slowly and carefully too!
