Re: Joggler nas box

Cheers for the reply Hawsey. That's a shame the joggler looks ideal for that sort of thing. What does everyone else use for their media server/Nas box as I have a small pc I could use but with what software. Many Thanks Andrew A raspberry pi 4 would work well for a lowish powered media server [emoj...

Re: White screen on boot

Sorry , it's probably the way I worded it but swapping the efi chip made no odds to the motherboard and also the efi from the bad board boots ok .
It's just pure white screen no boot logo .

Relating to Kernel 5.4...

ALSA in Kernel 5.4 does not auto-detect audio jack hotplugging.

Old kernel still works best for me.

Opera is another lite weight web browser.
Well that's a success [emoji846]. Does the image above have a desktop ?

Re: Ubuntu Emergency Mode on Expansion

I have just started with the Joggler, as I want to run it as a Home Automation dashboard. Quickly discovered that the internal memory isn't enough to run Chrome, so started with memory sticks to boot from instead using the Ubuntu from https://birdslikewires.net/ However every time I run of-expand, ...

Re: Free Joggler

Here recently took the oldest O2 Joggler with a failing eMMC and purchased a small footprint USB stick for it and wrote newest Ubuntu image to the USB stick. Lately using balenaEtcher (Etcher) which runs in Windows, Linux and Macs. Works great. Give it a try. Happy future birthday Gary!!! @Man in a...

Great getting that working Pete [emoji106].And good luck getting back on the airwaves . I'm sure there are still lots of potential other uses for Jogglers and radio . I have used mine for SDR on Android and also to pick up aircraft beacons , again on Android just because it was easy to set up but th...
