I never got round to registering for 4OD. Reading your post makes me thankful I didn't. Is it the same faff on the xbmc 4od plugin too?
Interesting that some of the channel 4 programmes removed from tvcatchup are available on skygo. I suppose sky are paying for the privilege...

Re: TVCatchup - RIP?
The culling at tvcatchup seems quite strange also. Almost unbelievable that they should be forced to drop some channels. The service is 'Freeview' after all. The channels stream with ads so I really don't see why the fuss. End result will be those reluctant to register to individual providers havin...

TVCatchup - RIP?
I've been shedding a little tear (lots actually) for the wonderful TVCatchup which has been ruined by the removal of many channels. I know the developers are not to blame - it's the sods who run the channels. I'll still be using it because it's so convenient but there's just no way it's as useful to...

Re: Joggler/tablet cradle
Were you able to find the right support..Even I am searching for suitable support for the joggler so please provide some suitable information Afraid not - certainly not something that works 'out of the box'. I did buy a couple of cradles from the states which looked like they might work and the dim...

XBMC advice please?
Due to the recent developments at XBMC hub I need some advice. I've read through pages of stuff but am none the wiser due to conflicting opinions and much scaremongering. At the moment and until the dust settles I want to remove all repos with adware (if I can find which ones!) and the hub repo (aga...

Re: PNPIII - trying to get NAS mounted for LMS
... I deleted contents of the Stick.. You mean reformatted the usb? The reflashing sounds about right from what I can remember. If you try to use the pnp usb a second time, are you also removing the 'remove_for_new_install' file? If the installation of PnP is really your problem, I think as well as...

Re: PNPIII - trying to get NAS mounted for LMS
@Error - What method you are using to install PnPIII? (For one of my jogglers only the telnet method will work). If you are sure that the reflash works and you think the issue is with the installation of PnPIII it might be worth copying the PNP files onto a different usb and trying again as some jog...

Hmm. I think I do click apply. When it next goes wrong i'll pay attention and let you know exactly what happens - unless, hopefully, you have things sorted by then. What's odd is that no one else reports this issue...

Re: Jogglers forum only Openframe 1.0 sale
Pete, I'll be honest with you and say I'd love to help you and fellow jogglerers out. The only thing that's stopping me from bounding is the issue of postage. I know that people use all sorts of posting methods but I only ever use Royal Mail as it really is the most convenient for me in all respects...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Hello - I have a similar problem. I am running SQPOS from a USB stick with the music library on an HDD (both connected to the Joggler via a powered USB hub). However I cannot get the system to survive a reboot - the mount point for the HDD seems to be set at random. Sometimes it is /media/usb, some...

Re: Jogglers forum only Openframe 1.0 sale
Pete, how many units are you planning on shipping over? I'm thinking in terms of storage space while waiting to post out. Postage here is quite variable depending on the service used. Royal mail with compensation is quite pricey but does cover loss and damage in transit (which i've had to claim in t...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD IT HERE!
Or (if it is working properly/as I intended) you could pop a USB stick in the Joggler, use the Mount writable USB shortcut and then try saving your mp3 files to mnt (which is the location of the USB stick) from the browser instead of the Media folder. They might then appear in the Music app on the ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
The BBC radio live streams won't play on either of my jogglers. With the 'BBC Radio' app, I don't get any sound even though it looks as though it's playing and and with 'BBC iPlayer' app, it displays 'Problem, Can't open file for: BBC...' Same problem if I go through 'Internet Radio' option. Might ...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD IT HERE!
Do you have a NAS? Unfortunately not. BTW Welcome back from your hols! I have tried mp3 on a usb stick in pnp and it worked fine, you could download the mp3s as a zip using the desktop download option and unzip them to a usb key. Yes, before I took the plunge with SQPOS I used to listen to my music...

Re: My cunning plan with Squeezeplay OS
It should work. I have my entire setup running off 2 usbs. One for sqpos and lms and the other housing a copy of my music.
