Squeezeplay OS
I have just tried another stick and the results are exactly the same. I also put the archived and unarchived version of the image on there. It hangs at the same point, it cannot find: sqpos105mmc.img.img I can fully understand this as there is no such file. Why is the boot script asking for sqpos105...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Going to have to give up on this. I have every option of renaming files, downloading with firefox and safari etc. If I run the md5 using quickpar it says the file is correct, then if I rename to sqpos105mmc.img.gz (this is the 1 gig file image extracted from the downloaded archive) it fails checksum...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
It's actually 53 bytes, 32K on disk (I presume as minimum block size), I used Folderprint to dump the files, so it may assume that any less than a fixed figures is zero bytes... Joggler Reflashing Tool, menu comes up, 10 second countdown, then starts.. just noticed error message comes up, file missi...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Still not working, I suspect reading previous posts it is because windows is renaming the file. It appears on my PC as a Quickpar File, when you click it it says that sqpos105mmc.img.gz.md5 is a missing file. These are the files on the USB Stick..... it keeps booting into stock OS, so I suspect some...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Roobarb, I have successfully flashed one of my jogglers, the other one appears goosed, following the instructions to put the squeezeplayer OS on it instead of the Open Peak image. However, all it is doing is installing the stock OS. I have copied the internal memory gz file and md5 file, tried it wi...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Had a go at that, when Win32 Diskimager writes the image, it makes it a 49Mb disk. Did a further bit of reading and downloaded GParted Live iso, booted into the CD instead of Win 7 and used the partition editor to expand the USB stick to 8gig. Indications were all is correct, however, on trying to c...

Two USB Sticks
I have installed the OS on a microcard via the reader which is wired to the board and fixed in the case as a mod, with the original USB port as is. I am presuming the external port is the default USB boot one, as I inserted a USB stick with music on and now the Joggler boots into the stock OS as it ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
I think this will be superb once you have finished your mods fella... I have two jogglers and want to use one as a squeezeplaer through a set of Bose Companion speakers. Not bothered about the rest of the apps on the machine. SP with the ability to default the library to a USB stick would be superb....

Re: Squeezebox Server and squeezeplayer on stock joggler
Tried again (the IP was 192.168.0.3) This doesn't work http://192.168.0.3:9000 And neither does http://192.168.0.3:9000! - in fact this also brings up a Bong! sound and error, whereas the first just can't find the web address. If I just use http://192.168.0.3 I can bring up the homepage as I have P&...

Squeezebox Server and squeezeplayer on stock joggler
I have successfully installed Squeezeplayer, birds like wires version with no problem at all. However, I would like to use it as a standalone player when the computer is off by using a USB stick and squeezebox server on the Joggler I have installed Squeezebox from Gforums, but (this is the 20th try ...

Wirless and Wired
Somebody will probably able to put me straight fairly quickly on this one... I currently have the lates Squeezebox server running on the PC (now called Logitech Media Server) which is hooked up to the router downstairs via a Homeplug AV 500 setup. When connecting wired through the giganet switch at ...

Video Jukebox software... interestingly this is available for Windows and Linux... http://www.skgsoft.net/downloads Anyone reckon the Linux version work on the Joggler for example using a USB stick as the music source?? A possible rival/accompaniment to Squeezeplay.. Had a look at it and it's not th...

Re: New YouTube App for Stock OS - Version 1.0 – 10 July 201
I get this error on running Winscp I need to sort out, but it is a cracking little prog. Command 'groups' failed with return code 127 and error message -sh: groups: not found. I have two joggles with stock OS, think I might just use one as a squeezebox player with a pair of active speakers in the li...

Re: New YouTube App for Stock OS - Version 1.0 – 10 July 201
As this Winscp is so damn good, would it be possible to use it to edit out some of the apps on the stock OS that we would never use? That would be exceedingly useful..

Re: New YouTube App for Stock OS - Version 1.0 – 10 July 201
Downloaded Winscp, nifty little program indeed !! (Snags logging in at first but remembered I hadn't pimped it so did that and got it working) applications.xml edited as outlined above and it now reads: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <applications> <app id="iPlayer&q...

Re: New YouTube App for Stock OS - Version 1.0 – 10 July 201
Spoyser... I'm definitely doing something wrong with vi. Twice now I have tried to install an app, and twice I have lost all the icons. I used Putty to go back in and recreate applications.xml from the backup made as part of your script.... I think I need to read up on moving the cursor and insertin...

Re: Power Supplies
Made up the kit. Maplins do a 2.2A and a 3.0 Amp current trip, so used that instead of an inline fuse. To all those thinking of having a go, the 12V which is usually a 5mm 2.5mm plug and socket works fine, powers up external hard drives no problem at all. Checked it on a WWStars dual caddy, via fire...
