Joggler and Power Supply. £40 including UK postage
Hello, I have a fully working Joggler and power supply (original box and manuals missing, but will be securely packed). I have just re-flashed it with the last OpenPeak image but not configured it, so it is ready to go or to install PNP III (recommended). £45 including postage (Royal Mail signed for...

Re: My Screen's Broken! - Dead joggler w/ working screen 4 s
Hello, I might have what you are looking for... Joggler was working, but was always a bit tricky to flash - sometimes needed 2 or 3 attempts. Yesterday I tried to flash it back to the O2 image and it seemed to take the image but then would not boot - stuck on the O2 screen. Any further attempts at f...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Thanks Arie, I will try that. Can you clarify two things? I want to mount read only as a further safeguard of the music files and it is a fat32 disk to allow me to update it on my mac. Would my fstab entry therefore look something like this? UUID=01CDE534EDF26BC0 /media/USBHDD vfat defaults,nobootwa...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Just had to force a reboot as I had lost all audio and it happened again - LMS lost path to the Music on the USB HDD. It was set at /media/usb1/Music but after the reboot was /media/usb2/Music. I tried manually editing the path rather than choosing from the folder browser popup, but as soon as I cli...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Are you asking it to rescan when this happens. I find that all I have to do it select the correct destination and exit. I never rescan and the music library normally reappears a minute or so. I realise this doesn't solve anything but may possibly speed up accessing the music library for you unless ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Hello - I have a similar problem. I am running SQPOS from a USB stick with the music library on an HDD (both connected to the Joggler via a powered USB hub). However I cannot get the system to survive a reboot - the mount point for the HDD seems to be set at random. Sometimes it is /media/usb, somet...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
Thanks gegs - unfortunately I can't see the images in your post, but your kitchen solution may work for me too. I had got so used to thinking that the USB digital output was superior to the 3.5mm analogue that I hadn't considered using speakers with an analogue in  - my lounge system is fully ...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
Hello, Spotted this thread in trying to solve my own USB soundcard issue: I just bought some Ricco USB speakers from amazon for £14.50 to set up a minimal Squeezeplay Joggler in the kitchen. The speakers have a built in soundcard and took no effort at all to get working. The sound is excellent when ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
A really big thanks to Positivity for this post... You're welcome - being new to WinSCP I didn't realise it had a built in terminal. So now there is no need to use PuTTY at all to remount the drive. It is a bit slow for updating a lot of music, but if I am just ripping a few CDs it is by far the qu...

Re: Post Update Tango GUI - random restarts
Oops! I now have this working, I used the wrong switch for the mount command. openpeak/tango/run now ends with the following and everything works: while true ; do # Run Squeezeplay instead of Tango GUI #xinit /openpeak/tango/xinit.sh -- -br # Mount USB drive read-only mount -t vfat -r /dev/sda1 /mnt...

Re: Post Update Tango GUI - random restarts
Hi, Revisiting an old post because I am now running the latest OpenPeak OS (30300) with the latest PNP III and Tango is once again randomly restarting - this happens on both my Jogglers so I don't think it is a hardware issue. Looking at the SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS) threa...

Re: Remote Control with SqueezePlay on Joggler?
Hello, I use my Joggler mainly for running Logitech Media Server and Squeezeplay - thanks to offbeatdave and roobarb's efforts. To my mind the Joggler offers a better interface than the current Logitech offerings with its larger screen. The only thing missing was a remote control. I have now found a...

No you are not confused - just checked mine...
Settings - Audio Settings - Interface Configuration - Software Mixer
Which raises another question - what is the difference between Internal and External Interface? Or is that irrelevant to the Joggler implementation?

Re: Post Update Tango GUI - random restarts
Just in case anyone else is suffering this issue, I reflashed to the O2 OS version 26635 using the Reflasher (thanks roobarb!), applied PNP III and I no longer have the problem. Prior to that I reflashed to the latest OpenPeak OS (using openpeak-small_12-06-14.img), reapplied PNP III but still had t...

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
I don't know anything about the Joggler partitioning scheme, but does this mean that there is potentially 25% more free space in the new image? Or would it be necessary to merge that free space into a another partition to make use of the space (boot from Ubuntu USB key and use parted)?

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
Thanks Buzz. I am quite happy to buy some more USB keys, just wanted to be sure that was the correct approach. No need to spend time reducing the image.

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
I am a little confused about the steps required here. Can someone confirm: 1. download openpeak_12-06-14.img.gz 2. extract openpeak_12-06-14.img file 3. use a disk image writer (e.g. Win32DiskImager) to write the image to a 4GB USB key 4. insert USB into Joggler and reboot What happens next? Does th...

Post Update Tango GUI - random restarts
Hello, I originally posted about this problem in a Squeezeplay thread, but I realise that it is not a Squeezeplay problem - although it is more often noticed there because I run the app for longer. I know we may be getting another update which may fix this, but I was wondering if anyone else had see...

Re: PNP Squeezeplay - Help please
More weirdness - the problem with the Tango GUI crashing and restarting in the background seems to have stopped occuring on my Joggler. As far as I can see there has been no further update (according to the About screen) and I have not rebooted it. Hopefully it is fixed for good.

Re: SOLVED - Spdif output
Hi - I have been considering this mod as it looks fairly straightforward even for my soldering skills. However I cannot source a SPDIF socket. Can you tell me where you got yours from? Thanks.
