Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Obviously the os has to be shut down correctly , I think I worked that out but I'm wondering if I make an image of one of the set up sticks with wireless configured etc would that work to build say three new sticks and have them work ? What I mean is would they conflict with each others IP or Mac e...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
I've never had much luck either. My recipe,
Plug it in using the Ethernet cable.
Get connected to mysqueezebox and then switch to your local LMS.
Once you are working, then configure the Wifi, and reboot, and disconnect the ethernet.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Pardon me for butting in. The Joggler's internal memory is very fragile and I have had several Jogglers that have spontaneously scrambled their RAM necessitating a complete wipe & repartition. I would always recommend running the OS from a USB stick & use a hub if you want to have the DAC t...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
I've just moved from 1.61 of the Joggler one to the OpenFrame one, thanks a million roobarb! You're a great fella. Now, just reading in the Kodi forum that Buzz reckons you're better running Kodi from an external usb, saves wear and tear on the internal flash, is that the best advice for sqpos? I'm ...

Re: Squeezeplay OS and Internal Wifi
Since the WNDA3200 has been superseded now, what other 5Ghz usb wifi dongles can I use? I saw in your sqpos changelog that you've added more support for different chipsets.

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Not sure whether this post should be in the 3rd party hardware/software section. Here goes. I've got a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 which has come to the end of it's laptop use (killed by a Chromebook). These original Dell 10 inchers are pretty much the same hardware as the Joggler: Intel Atom Z520 cpu GMA...

Re: joggler USB Audio out re - Squeezeplay is this possible?
@Algo any chance of some pics of the finished project? I've got the same USB DAC and was considering just taping it to the back of the Joggler. Now I'd feel like a hobo doing that after seeing what you've achieved.

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Sorry about hijacking this thread because it's more about the logitech media server (LMS) than Squeezeplay, but since I only to the bottom of it when setting up Squeezeplay on the Joggler I thought I'd add it. It regards lack of radio streams (a common thread topic here), either through the BBC app ...

Re: Network configuration applet for squeezeplay
That's exactly what I want to use my joggler for. Was trying to limp along with native OS and various hacks but realised if I want to access remote files I was going to need a proper 'mount' and/or cifs. So, I'd be very interested in a minimal OS that only runs squeezeplay.

Native NFS mounting
Hi guys, I think I used to be registered but can't remember my details. Just got the joggler back out, restored it from dead (thanks birdslikewires) and added Squeezeplay. Lovely stuff. I want to be able to see my NAS, ideally with an NFS mount but it says unknown device. I'm guessing it's because o...
