Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
I have installed the Airplay server, restarted the Joggler and then enabled the server. Unfortunately, the Joggler isn't visible as an Airplay device from my iPad, so I can't stream to it. The only device I can connect to is my Apple TV. Any ideas what might be the problem? what do you see in your ...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
Don't forget his email is in the EDO source code. Are there any error messages output to dmesg when playing audio? thanks for the email hint. here is an excerpt of the last lines of dmesg while playing back an 192kHz audio file with aplay: http://pastxt.com/P/UO8RPKGQXC can someone interpret, pleas...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Secondly - I get 'ghost' presses on the touchscreen. It'll all be fine for hours/days then the ui will go crazy and press loads of random buttons for 20-30 seconds before settling down. I've seen this on both my jogglers; which I wasn't exepcting - the first time it happened I assumed it was a hard...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
It may be worth trying to play some audio files with aplay to eliminate any bugs in squeezeplay. I'd try a later kenel (just in case), and if that doesn't work, contact triode - I'm sure hell be happy to share his patches :D my joggler is on kernel 3.2.23jog1 now. still the same crackling on all au...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
I believe triode has some custom kernel modifications for the tenor usb interface. It may be worth asking him for the source code / trying a later kernel (such as the ones included with buzz's latest builds). Edit: there was a fix in 3.2.21 for the ud-h01 http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC
I´ve recently purchased the teac teac ud-h01 and installed Wilberforces EDO port for Squeezplay OS (installed on internal mmc). the teac dac is recognized, but there are problems during playback of files with sample rates greater than 44.1kHz. 88.2kHz, 96kHz & 192kHz files do constantly crackle ...

Fly / Bugs on Jogglers Touchscreen
This happened to me right now. I was listening to an internet radio station with Squeezplay on my Joggler. Suddenly I hear Squeezplays sound fx although I wasn´t touching the Joggler and the virtual keyboard of the Squeezeplayer popped up on the screen? WTF? I did not know that bugs can operate the ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
I have a small issue with your new SqueezePlay OS for Internal Memory v1.05 release. Just before I just have used the stock O2 os and your Squeezeplay applet. With the Squeezeplay OS the sound volume decreased significantly with my external soundcard. is there a software mixer involved where i can r...

Re: **BUILD 3 - Windows XP Professional SP3 (Plus Tablet PC)
thank you for your hints. the problem is, if I delete the device in device manager, every time i plug it in again it is found as a generic usb device. it also does not update the driver if i manually locate it to the esi drivers. it simply does not recognise the device as an esi device, that is my i...

yes, it was port 4. ;) I know that windows doesn´t come with ASIO drivers. The issue I have is that the installer of my audiocard doesn´t install as expected. have a look here http://download.esi-audio.com/?w=esi&p=53&g=2&l=en download driver and control panel version 2.3 , and start set...

Re: **BUILD 3 - Windows XP Professional SP3 (Plus Tablet PC)
Some Jogglers may not start the NIC device (error 10). Unsure why, but I have one Joggler that reports the same hardware as the other, but no NIC. WIFI works and USB to Ethernet adaptors are really cheap and the Belkin one I have works well on a hub with a usb stick. We suspect this is a NIC firmwa...

Re: **BUILD 3 - Windows XP Professional SP3 (Plus Tablet PC)
Some hubs can be finicky about what port they boot from, did you try all ports on the hub? only 1 of 11 ports does work. many thanks for that. but now i have an issue with my external soundcard. i want to install the drivers for the usb soundcard with asio (because i´d like to use it with foobar). ...

hi mevi,
thank you for your efforts in this field. i followed your instructions using a hub (the files within the withhub directory copied to root of the flash drive), tried 2 different usb hubs, but the flash drive doesn´t boot xp when using a hub.
any idea?
