Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
I think was a bit overly defensive in my last post. Like you say, it would be good to seperate the two concerns, but it seems like it is replacing one implementation (the Logitech approach) with another, which doesn't provide all of the orginal features. Also, as it was never adopted, It turned int...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
The last point may be sarcasm on your part but I am actually considering having these run slideshows for a couple of minutes before going dark... Thanks for replying and I will look at the patch and weigh up these options.

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
I used to have this issue with SQPos. Somewhere there is a patch (Wilberforce posted perhaps?) which made it behave how I wanted it to. Hmm, yes I did see that and I also saw Roobarb's response. Not sure that hacking the screensaver to perform backlight setting is really the best approach when ther...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
"Display Standby sometimes fails to work until the setting is re-applied, is there a reason? I'm *not* using the timer functionality which I have read can affect this. I also have the screensaver set to "screen off" with a delay of 30 seconds and the display timeout set to switch off ...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
Having issues with connecting to the local library or mysqueezebox.com when I run either your version or another version of squeezeplayer under Ubuntu Raring x64. Any ideas what is happening here? 0130304 01:09:40.405 INFO squeezeplay.applets - AppletManager.lua:708 store settings: SetupLanguage 201...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Thanks. Thanks so much. I've spent years trying to get the sync with MPD/pulseaudio to work *just* *right* and never quite got there. I discovered your work with Squeezeplay OS and have instantly decided to buy two more jogglers. Truly excellent, many thanks! The AAC was a little confusing but after...

Re: ICS X86 Source Out!
If you have a linux system I would recommend using the second method described on the mporting site and creating 3 partitions as I described above. Then just copy the ICS_Joggler_4.0.3_Alpha.zip contents into the first partition.

Re: ICS X86 Source Out!
Hey there, anyone got the market working yet? Currently loading stuff with ES file explorer from a LAN share.... I must say, the release seems good so far and very easy to set up. Congrats :) Simple instructions for everyone, just load up a command line or gparted and create the following partitions...

Re: ICS X86 Source Out!
Hi, which gapps do you use for this build? I've tried the 20111228 and 20121222 and those don't seem to work. goo.inside.me seem to be down too which doesn't help.
<edit> by work I mean the market is broken, some other parts work.
