Thanks Heuer,
I installed 8.2 last night and left one Joggler running spos 3.03 and the other running Jivelite.
The Jivelite one crashed after a while, so I've now got spos 3.03 on both.
I left them running random songs over night and both seem to be working fine!!
Thanks,
Damian

They were mostly fine for a few months. roobarb, I have tried different USB sticks, but it doesn't seem to improve anything. Although it may not fix anything, I'll try to thermal line. Do I add that somewh...

Joggler keeps crashing
Hi all, I've got a Joggler running as a frontend for a Squeezebox2. It's running 18.04.4 with nothing installed except Squeezeplay (https://birdslikewires.net/debian-for-openframe). The OS is running from a mini USB stick. When playing music, it seems to crash every few minutes. Maybe between 5 and ...

Thanks hawsey,
I've started running one of them via external USB, and it's not dropped to the command prompt yet.

Joggler Problems (2 Jogglers, different prblems)
Hi All, OK, I'm about a week in to owning Jogglers. The 2nd one only arrived today, but I'm already getting serious headaches! :-) The First Joggler. This keeps getting a weird problem where I just can't get to the 'Now Playing' screen any more. I press on it, but nothing happens. A reboot results i...

How can I add wifi? (Joggler and Squeezeplay on Ubuntu 18.04)
Hi All, I've got a Joggler all set up and working well, when plugged into the LAN. I want to remove the LAN cable and use Wifi. How can I add the wifi name and password? I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 (https://birdslikewires.net/debian-for-openframe), on the internal drive (https://birdslikewires.net/openfr...

Re: Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
BTW did get Kodi running sort of well on the Openframe 2 with 2Gb of internal OS space and a fitted Crystal HD card running Ubuntu 14.XX way long time ago. Plex client would work better with same setup drivers running Ubuntu 14.X maybe. I'd be very interested to see if Kodi could run on Ubuntu 18.0...

Re: Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
Good news DamianS. You might want to write a new NIC ROM to your built in O2 Joggler. Note that the O2 Joggler came with a blank NIC ROM. If you write a ROM to the NIC then you can put the O2 to sleep and wake it up remotely (if you leave the power cable plugged in). Using a Russound zoned audio sy...

Unsupported sample-rate (Squeezeplay on Ubuntu 18.04)
Hi, I've installed Squeezeplay on Ubuntu 18.04 My music is playing OK, but when I go into BBC Sounds Radio, I get, "Unsupported sample-rate" https://www.dropbox.com/s/m3iysd3st7ndv8v/Squeezeplay-Radio.JPG?raw=1 All of my 'non-joggler' Squeeze Devices are playing the BBC Sounds radio fine, ...

Re: Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
I tried a couple of different OS's tonight, and then went with Pete's suggestion. I followed these instructions ... 1. Download Reflash system for Openpeak here ==> https://birdslikewires.net/openframe-flash 2. Download Ubuntu 18.X and install image on reflash stick ==> https://birdslikewires.net/de...

Re: Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
Is that bad/worse? No. 1 - There is the Openpeak O2 Joggler 2 - There is the Openpeak 1 3 - There is the Openpeak 2 #2 and #3 where used by the telcos (had built in DECT for said use) and where used by the energy sector and had built in Zigbee to monitor electric and thermostat stuff. The O2 Joggle...

Re: Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
I didn't know that there were different versions. Mine certainly doesn't have any speakers at the front, so I guess they are at the back.
Is that bad/worse?
Thanks,
Damian

Just bought my first Joggler! - What should I do with it (Squeeze Player Controller is top priority)
Hi Everyone, I'd never heard of a Joggler a couple of weeks ago. Now, thanks to the SlimDevices forum and ebay, I own one. My device I have seems to have OpenPeak installed. My main (only?) use for the Joggler, initially, is to act as a user friendly remote for the slim devices in my house (SLIMP3 a...
