In the squeezeplay installation there is a separate file, sqpbacklightj.sh, which is presumably called by the screensaver. Would it be possible to modify this to change the screensaver behaviour?

Does anyone know how to disable the Play part SqueezePlay? The reason I want to do this, is so that I can run Squeezeslave in the background all the time, and use Squeezeplay purely as a controller. Squeezeslave also gives me the advantage of being able to use an external USB DAC. Help appreciated T...
