looks like the devcon commands need to be in bat files.

try putting devcon disable/enable <instance-id> in the shutdown/startup scripts in gpedit.msc\Comp Config\Win Settings\Scripts (Startup/Shutdown). devcon find * will get you the instance-id .

There seems to be an error in the current (25th Oct) image, as it won't boot. Moving xom.efi. vga.rom and boot.nsh from EFI/workingefi to EFI/ fixed it.
