I only use it for squeezeplay and it has been rock solid. Would like to get it working rather than reinstalling a new OS.

Also - the one in the bathroom wall has the USB disk soldered to the mainboard so it's not quite so easy to reinstall the OS!

my mistake - Squeezeplay can no longer connect to the server after changing the mac address in the config file. Changing it back to de:ad:be:ef:ca:fe seems to fix it. I am running Ubuntu 9.10. Thanks roobarb, changing the mac address in /home/joggler/.squeezeplay/userpath/settings/DesktopJive.lua to the one ifconfig spits out did the trick.
