Took me a little while, but v1.31 is available now. Includes the new asound.conf file, so vanishing audio and chipmunk audio should be a thing of the past. Have not tested the 5 hour problem. If you ever do leave it running for >5 hours and it doesn't die, please post your asound.conf file here straight away!
