Cheers Ronnie, cheers Jon.
Joggler all setup, Spotty working, mnt working, lots of pictures where they need to be. Now setting up some automation for it to come on with using my homeassistant installation. Many thanks!

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
This is because the apt repo it's pointing at has "gone" now. Scroll back through this thread, and there's a sed (or possibly awk - I always get them muddled up) line to swap it to the historical mirrors... Sorted, many thanks, found the new sources.list file a few pages back. installed c...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Thanks again Ronnie, my own stupidity, i simply didn't read the blurb with the download, you're completely correct, the onboard install doesn't give an option of installing LMS on the device. So i've gotten round that nicely by simply installing LMS on my network Pihole raspberryPi that the Joggler ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Ronnie, you're a gent. I literally just thought about installing the LMS on my mac as i read your comment. I was thinking about running the OS from USB, but i'd prefer not to have a hub as use the usb out to connect to my dac that goes to my stereo. It sits on a shelf beside my stereo and looks quit...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Hey guys, thought i'd have a go with this OS on my joggler today. I initially used an external USB which booted the device well. I entered the wifi SSID and password, rebooted, and it sat at the "Problem Connecting" page for connecting to mysqueezebox.com. After a few goes of Try again and...

Re: PnP III v3.60 July 2017 Update
You can get a plugin for AirPlay via squeezeplay on PNP3. There is an official one and some 3rd party ones that are better supported. I don't have an iPhone so have no way of testing it, but have a look at the logitech squeezebox site http://forums.slimdevices.com/forumdisplay.php?4-3rd-Party-Softw...

Re: PnP III v3.60 July 2017 Update
Nice job with the update mate, we appreciate your input! Update worked first time like a charm having not updated for several years at least. I was thinking about my Joggler the other day, I basically use it as a gateway to my stereo connected via a dac. It's great for Spotify and BBC which is basic...

Re: No wifi on my Joggler?
So i fixed it! Okay, so i took the Joggler apart, and found the ribbon cable to the ethernet plug adrift, refitted that and i have working ethernet. I had to move the joggler closer to my router to connect a short ethernet cable. I played around and it's working quite happily online. Thought i would...

No wifi on my Joggler?
Hey Guys! I've just taken my Joggler out a box as moved half way around the world. I use my Joggler most days, as it's plugged via a dac into my hifi, I use it for Spotify mainly. So on turning on, booted okay, gone to settings, search for wifi and it's not finding any signals, none at all. Thought ...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
Hello fellow Joggler users! Long time no see. I haven't made it back here for many a year but still use my joggler daily with this OS on it, still love it for Spotify. So i've just started using Home Assistant that i run on a raspberrypi that i also use as a PiHole DNS ad-blocker, what a great thing...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Cheers Castalla, i've come acroppa though, my device is throwing up an error that it has no space. It's still using the original onboard ram. Stretching my knoledge of linux from my uni days, cannot copy extracted data for './usr/share/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/arch/5.12/arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-6...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Cheers Castalla, i must be looking in the wrong place, but i've gone through all the settings and haven't found an LMS install feature in squeezeplay! I'll look into the ssh route.

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Hey guys, long time no see. Glad to see support still for these great little gadgets. I use mine almost daily for network radio, and decided to update it to squeezeplay as recently got a spotify account. I dont really want to run my pc that has LMS running, is there a way i can install a native LMS ...

Re: My goodness ... the Holy Grail of Minidisc
I had the original blue Sony minidisc recorder when I was at secondary school. It was a great bit of kit, anodised blue, had an extra battery pack that took AA batteries which made life easier. 24 anti shock seconds, pure class. I used it extensively for riding to college, school and evening work. I...

Re: So, how many people are after a Raspberry Pi?
I've had one since the first week of release, and unfortunately haven't had a chance to play with it, bar installing raspbmc and using it briefly as a media center. Really should dedicate some time to use it.

Ttherapo, there are devices to send audio wirelessly, you'll need both a sender and receiver. The 3.5mm jack output from the joggler isn't ideal though, if you could find a USB audio transmitter that's compatible with the Joggler, generally you'll need a cmedia chipped external adapter as they are k...

Temporary white screen
I get the same, I only use mine once in a blue moon and it always boots white. It didn't when I first had it, but few months, well, a year down the line this is every boot. I've had no other problems.

Re: Is this possible?
I used a bit of software called centrafuse when i had a car pc. Had a 7" electric fold out screen that shared my double din slot with my headunit. Old laptop sat under a false floor under drivers seat. Was cool, now the average iphone can do loads more with a wifi obd port. Digitalcar forums an...
