Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he
Hi, sorry for this basic question but once this has installed to the Joggler, can the USB stick be removed or does it have to stay in like for the Android OS's etc.?
If it can be removed, can the joggler be rebooted without loosing this enhancement.
Thanks,
Ian

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
David11 - have you been in touch with O2? - mine was working perfectly until the update and now they have knackered it. I tryied the reflash and while I got it to work once, after a reboot it stopped working again. Im pretty annoyed with O2 for destroying something I have paid for so I am interested...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Hi chaps. I got my joggler up and running last night using this tool - many thanks for the efforts but then when I powered it on after leaving it off overnight to prevent another O2 update it would not boot, even though I got it working last night. It just sticks at the O2 logo. I then tried my refl...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
I am also trying to reflash - am a complete novice and don't really know what I'm doing but seem to have fallen at first hurdle. Am trying to follow the step by step guide from the birdslikewires website for windows - don't have lynux or mac. I have downloaded both Win32DiskImager bits but can't fi...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
Not totally sure what changed but you can try to reflash it with the original firmware. http://birdslikewires.co.uk/articles/jogglerflash Thanks, I am trying to achieve this but having problems with the Win32DiskImager - think it may be down to my 64bit Win7 so I am trying it on an older XP machine...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
Mine updated this morning and it seems to have bricked it in the process. All I get is an O2 logo now and cannot do anything with it. Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting this working again. Im pretty annoyed that O2 have killed a working device.

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
I had this working and then I chose to power it off from the Android option and then powered it off at the plug. When I next came to boot up it hung at the O2 logo and would no longer start up. Am I not supposed to use the power off option in Android? If I am not what should I do say when I go on ho...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
If anyone (like me) has had problems getting any of these android images to boot then it could well be down to the USB device you are using. I tried four before I got one that worked and just assumed it was something stupid I was doing that was causing the problem but all the time it was down to USB...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
I would try the bootsector.img first - it takes about 2 seconds to write to the drive & if it works you'll save a lot of time. I tried this last night with 1.2.4 on the USB stick afterwards and it still wont boot - just sticks on the O2 logo like all my other attempts! I will try Ubuntu next as...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
I'm not entirely sure how it works but I've found it very helpful in recovering several USB sticks that have been corrupted with bad flashes. I wish I had know that before I returned my 32GB Corsair GTR on Firday - that may have helped! Thanks. The Android image has now been written. I will try it ...

I would try the bootsector.img first - it takes about 2 seconds to write to the drive & if it works you'll save a lot of time. Hi, I am just trying that now. What is he pupose of this tiny bootsector image out of curiosity? I full (not quick) formatted the drive with one FAT32 partition and the...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
Hi dwl99 and Hawsey, Thanks for your replies. I originally used disk imager 0.3 with the 1.2.3 build but got an error so I searched the forums and found that someone used 0.1 and managed to create the image so I switched to that but it didnt help me as my 4GB USB drive seemed to be a little smaller ...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps + Twea
Hi everyone, I dont know if you can help but I have tried over and over again to get Android running on my Joggler and have not managed to get past the O2 logo with any of my now about 8 attempts. I have tried build 1.2.3 following the Wiki word for word, and now the 7th August release kindly create...

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3
I agree, that may have been a better option but as the SD partition just fills whatever the remaining space is, that should not cause a problem with me booting should it? The ANDROID and DATA partitions are all 1GB as suggested.dwl99 wrote:You actually need an 8GB stick for the 4GB image to fit comfortably!

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3
Hi guys, I have done a search and not found the solution but I am new to hacking the joggler, want to get Android working and have been following the Wiki but without any success unfortunately. I am doing this from a Windows PC with a 4GB USB drive. First attempt was to use the prebuilt image "...
