Re: FS - Original joggler £15 inc P&P

Ooh, is there something I need to update on there for LMS 8 compatibility? Yes - see https://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32469#p32469 Updating to latest from Ralphy is probably even better but I can understand if merging things again would be too time consuming. I have this patch runn...

Re: FS - Original joggler £15 inc P&P

Thanks - arrived - reflashed with SQPOS (patched /opt/squeezeplay/share/jive/jive/slim/SlimServer.lua so that it works with LMS 8) and up and running

If you explain your interests in what this forum is all about - be specific - then you have a much better chance of being taken seriously. Until then you will probably be considered as a spoof account that is preparing to send spam once accredited.

Re: Joggler starts random app

My guess ... a fault with the touch element of the screen generating spoof clicks ... or something else brushing against it.

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

I run LMS 8.0 nowadays and this has brought up an issue. A fresh install on Joggler failed to work with LMS because the Joggler kept prompting me to update my LMS. The reason is some faulty logic in Jive. The full solution is probably to use a more recent build of Jive but I patched it by taking a c...

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

Looked like the same brightness when it came back. Certainly did not go back to 100% on return.
However, I was running .84 on another Joggler and that seemed to behave like I now see in .85

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

With 3.16.85 - now that it is dark outside I can see that the screen backlight is not being switched off (have configured screen/when stopped to be Off & Backlight to Automatic).
If I press the on-screen power button (top left) then it does turn off the backlight.

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

I was running 84 prior to this without a problem.

Before I reimaged I had a quick poke around the logs and saw wpa_supplicant reporting an issue with "line 12".
I should have taken a photograph of the screen.
Anyway - now that I think I have a way to repeat it I can study it a bit more.

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

Update - I reimaged and this time did not personalise the network.yaml file ... and now it gets Ethernet IP address.

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

I just copied 3.16.85 to USB stick (and put the WiFi details in) and booted a Joggler with it.
It boots but is not picking up network interfaces (WiFi or Ethernet)
ifconfig only lists loopback.

Re: 2 Jogglers for sale . One working one not.

I'll take them at that price having missed out on a couple on eBay that each went for 13-18-ish
If London area then could arrange a pick up (if OK with you).

2 Jogglers for sale . One working one not.

Which country (and if UK, roughly where) are you (they) in (to help estimate postage cost)?

Re: SqueezePlay for OpenFrame

and we are back ... and I have the NowPlaying views again mount /dev/sda2 on / type ext2 (rw,noatime,errors=remount-ro) Maybe automatically running fsck on boot could be worth doing. In the end it might only be hiding a problem but might still be OK for a simple appliance that can be rewritten in ev...
