Re: Ubuntu Bionic for OpenFrame

Don't panic folks, links will be down to images for a couple of hours while a new version compiles. I left HPET (High Precision Event Timer) support enabled, which isn't required on the OpenFrames and started to cause issues on the new kernel 5.4, so I decided to remove it from all kernels and let ...

Roobarb, is it possible to boot the joggler directly to kodi without the need to login screen and entering the command "kodi" . I saw some examples online but none seems to work with XORG. Will appreciate your help

The "of-expand" command still not working on OF2 devices. Ooh, good catch. I'll check it out. Thanks for reporting that, all fixed now with any luck. You can grab an updated version of the script from here and I'll regenerate the images. Roobarb. Thanks. Did you remove any graphics or backlight dri...

Re: Ubuntu Bionic for OpenFrame

I really wish someone could build Kodi standalone (auto-start) on this kernel. That will really open up the Joggler/of2 for endless media possibilities. The one posted by pete above didn't load on my OF2.

If you're using an OpenPeak OS of any type, there's no sudo. You just do - you're already the root user. :)
Thanks. SSH working. How do i enable apt-get ?

Anyone successful with this build on OpenFrame 2 (the one with the larger speaker bar and the Zigbee chip) devices? I can't get wireless working, and I haven't figured out how to console in to try to enable Ethernet.
Did you figure it out? I am also having thesame issue on my openFrame 2

Re: Updated OpenPeak Firmware (Version 30300)

How did you install the telio image? Seems it is bigger than the reflash imaged drive. Can i increase the size of the reflash partition? It seems to be only 476MB though my usb stick is 2GB.

Thanks,
