TAKEN: Two boxed Jogglers, one working
Both with original boxes. They've been in storage for many years. One seems fine, the other boots to a white screen that gradually fills with grey smudges. (Actually one time it booted to a grey screen with 'O2' in white lettering, before the smudges took over.) Recipient pays postage, or collect fr...

Re: Ubuntu wifi problems
Thanks. I've ordered one of those cute Edimax dongles, so will no doubt be back with further problems. Sorry, issues

Re: Ubuntu wifi problems
Wow - I didn't realise they'd got so small! That's tempting.
Naive question: would that work plugged into the hub? And when you commented earlier about running the OS off the internal USB port, do you mean there's enough internal space (and ventilation) for a memory stick?
thanks again.

Re: Ubuntu wifi problems
Well, the wifi lasted about 30 hours this time, so nothing seems to have changed
Oh well - thanks for the suggestion. Back to the drawing board..

Re: Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Dev/Beta Builds
Not sure if this is actually a joggler issue, or whether it should really go to the Kodi or Plex forums, but... I'm running Kodi 14.2 on a recent (last but one, I think) BuZz Ubuntu system. The server is Plex, running on an old Mac mini, because I need live transcoding for another client on the netw...

Re: Ubuntu wifi problems
Thanks - I've just rebooted with the edited grub.cfg, so now to wait and see...
I really thought I'd read through BuZz's page before, without noticing that bit! He has totally changed the layout since I last looked, though, so possibly a bit of editing has taken place too.
Will report back.

Ubuntu wifi problems
Hi, I have a couple of jogglers here both running BuZz's Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, and neither lasts more than a couple of days without the wifi connection going down. /var/log/syslog shows: Jun 26 03:28:30 joggler NetworkManager[989]: <info> (wlan0): roamed from BSSID BC:EE:7B:6F:E8:40 (MyNetwork) to (no...

Ok, just downloaded the btrfs image again and checksum is correct! Weird... Thanks BuZz!

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
Hi, is there a problem with the download server at the moment? Having tried a couple of versions of Xubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty) (Joggler Image v1.1) (btrfs and ext4) and got kernel panics, I actually bothered to run the md5 checksum, and found neither matched. Have tried a couple of different browser...

Xubuntu/XBMC audio problem
Hi, I have Kodi 14.1 running on an oldish Mac mini, and XBMC Gotham running on Buzz’s Xubuntu (thank you Buzz!), with a Behringer DAC attached to the joggler. I’m getting frequent stalling and hiccupping of the audio stream on the Joggler. I’m assuming that the joggler is where the problem lies, sin...

Re: Diagnosing UPnP problems
What type of files are you trying to play? Music I presume but which format? Inevitably, 20 minutes after posting, I *think* I've sorted it. Most of the music library is in ALAC format, which our Roberts internet radio doesn't like. Asset can do on-the-fly transcoding, and I'd set it to convert .m4...

Diagnosing UPnP problems
Hi, I posted yesterday about problems with a newly-acquired Joggler accessing the Asset UPnP server, and with BBC iPlayer. I've now updated to PnP III, which seems, more or less, to have sorted out the iPlayer issues, though there have been a couple of spontaneous reboots on quitting iPlayer - sligh...

Newbie questions: UPnP client and iPlayer
Hi, I've just acquired a Joggler with the updated (I think) OpenPeak OS - it's software version 30291, anyway. I also have a Behringer UCA202 DAC, and they seem to be working very nicely together with Squeezeplay. However, just to be awkward, I'd like to use the Asset UPnP server instead of LMS, and...
