Re: Joggler crashing - SOLVED
Has been running happily now for 2 weeks on a direct mains socket - albeit on a different power supply: Maplin switched mode multi-voltage power supply (L11BQ), 5V @ 4A.

Re: Joggler crashing
Yes, could be the same. I'm about to go away for 2 weeks, so will have to report back later (don't want to leave it on while away).

Joggler crashing
I'm quite regularly getting crashes on my Joggler, where it locks up and the screen breaks up like so: http://i57.tinypic.com/10sawya.jpg This can happen on boot, or after several minutes or hours - no obvious pattern. Rebooting works - until the next time. I'm running sqPOS v3.03 on an external USB...

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
I've installed Xubuntu 14.04 on my O2 Joggler, and I'm happily running Squeezeplay within that. I've got a mouse plugged into a USB hub, and I've noticed that there is a limited amount of mouse interaction within Squeezeplay - e.g., the mouse will 'wake up' a sleeping display. Is there any way of ge...

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
Whoops - spoke too soon!
Am now getting 'Error: script failed!: iPlayer' when trying to watch a live channel.
I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling iPlayer, and I've even reinstalled Xubuntu to the USB stick, to no avail.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Thanks, Ronnie, that did the trick!
I had everything else set up OK, just needed to copy ffmpeg to /usr/local/bin on my Mac mini.
Now rocking to 6 Music!

Hi gegs,
It was AAC > Flash AAC. I've changed it to AAC > Flash AAC > Flash MP3 > WMA, but same result.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
OK, I've definitely not got ffmpeg in the right place - I turned on debugging in LMS (set player.source to Debug under Settings > Advanced > Logging) and got an error 'couldn't find binary for: ffmpeg'. I downloaded a binary for OS X, and added my Downloads folder to PATH - ffmpeg works, because I g...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Hi, Can anyone help with getting this working on LMS under OS X, please? I've successfully installed the PlayHLS plugin, and replaced menu.opml, and I've also installed an ffmpeg binary for OS X, which shows as version 2.5.3. However, when I try to play a live stream, I get an 'Unable to play file t...

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III
I think this only works for The Lounge - as I said, this is working OK for me.
I'm using Squeezeplay with an external LMS (on a Mac mini), and R2, 6 Music, etc. have stopped working, whereas local radio (e.g., Radio Kent) works OK.

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III
Hi, I now can't get BBC national radio (R1, R2, R3, etc.) to work in Squeezeplay, i.e., BBC iPlayer Listen Live. I get the message: 'Problem: Can't open file for: BBC Radio 2'. Is this something to do with LMS / changed stream format? Local radio stations (e.g., BBC Kent) work OK. All work OK in Pur...

Re: Home automation - writing apps for Joggler
Hi Pete / James, Thank you both for your replies and your encouragement! At the moment, I've got a very modest LightwaveRF setup: 3 rooms with 3 remote sockets (controlling lights) and 2 dimmer switches between them, plus 2 relays controlling external lights. All are RF controlled (433MHz). I've als...

Re: Home automation - writing apps for Joggler
Thanks for your replies, Hawsey. Have a look at this : viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1492 Yes, I had already seen this, and had the same experience as keekee. Roobarb!: any chance of posting the link to the SDK again, please? My programming experience is limited (mostly BBC BASIC on Risc OS!) - I've never...

Home automation - writing apps for Joggler
Hello, I've recently obtained 2 Jogglers from eBay, and I've successfully reflashed these using Roobarb!'s 30300 firmware. I've then installed SqueezePlay OS on one, and PnP III on the other. The first runs LMS and acts as a server, while the second has more general use: Internet, iPlayer, Radio, Sq...
