This has now been solved replaced my apple airport extreme (latest generation) with a BT home hub 5 and now all the YouTube apps work on all my jogglers again.

Hi I have 6 fully functioning Joggler running on firmware: 8964 board rev 2 software:30300. I have not updated or changed these in the last year.
