Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Yeah there is a script I found buried in there that is a random number generator for a MAC address. Thinking it is in the SQP directories. So you will see one IP from the OS and another IP on your SqueezeServer. It'll do the MAC thing no matter if you utilize the Gb NIC port or the WLAN USB stick p...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Good that you got it going. I do recall reading somewhere that the wireless mac address is "derived" from wired mac address as the wireless card doesn't have one. Not sure how accurate this is as I thought all network devices would have their own unique mac address. Anyway, have fun with ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
No it's not hidden actually. I left the joggler on for a few hours, and when I came back it had picked up an IP address. It then wouldn't connect to my LMS server. I rebooted and it seems OK now, able to get IP and connect and play music. Just needed a little time on it's own to settle it seems! Ju...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
I have a couple of Jogglers running Squeezeplay. since I have so much screen real estate I'd like to have the Album covers large when browsing the library. Is there a way to tweek this, can't find anything with the search? You'd need to go digging into the skin design code to alter that sort of thi...

Applet recommendation If you have problems displaying Artists (and other Information) with CJK characters try fontreplacer 1.1 (by: mcstayinskool@yahoo.com). CJK.JPG fontreplacer is a Lua applet for Squeezebox. It replaces the default FreeSans font file in Squeezeplay with a merged font file that u...

..and after a reboot you are running on fixed 800Mhz, plus the joggler won't run "hot" that way, for my alarm clock 800Mhz (WLAN Flac play) is enough. Hi Rakanishi , thank you for sharing. Seems working well, but I cannot "feel" a temperature difference of my device. Is it an in...

Hi Palindrom; thanks for your continued feedback on this. I really would like to get this working. However, I would like to start a new thread, where we can continue this w/o cluttering the SPOS v3 thread. OK? Hope to see you there! Heiner Yes OK. But my feedback will be slow... Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
All I can say is that ickStream and Squeezeplay seem to register okay without the patch. The API reference is to what the ickStream developers suggest should be done at the Joggler Squeezeplay end by Roobarb I don't use 7.9 so I can't check what it gives as device type. I do no mind roobarb! revert...
