Re: Loud digital noise suddenly started (internal speakers and external)

It was a bit unreliable (sometimes failing to boot, sometimes coming up with corrupted partition, sometimes boot but no audio or no screen or no touchscreen etx) but it seems relate...

Re: Ubuntu Bionic for OpenFrame

I'll be patient then ;) Looking for media on a WD NAS on the local network. Is there a way to show a clock face screensaver on the joggler with this ubuntu without adding a desktop? Something I can set to run via putty? Thanks again. Adding a fan and heatsink will reap rewards as the Joggler tends ...

Re: Ubuntu Bionic for OpenFrame

Cheers , looks like I could follow that to get a desktop.
I just need wireless to work so I'll buy one of those adapters you used :-)
I would like to use it for some amateur radio stuff .

Re: Ubuntu Bionic for OpenFrame

@Roobarb , with this build does that wireless adapter you linked to work out of the box please ? Also just building a simple desktop environment is hard for my limited skills unfortunately :-( , can I ask if you have such a build for say a usb stick that you could share pretty please . Thanks again ...
