Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
I was tweaking the config for the joggler kernel and I noticed that kernel debugging is enabled, it's worth turning it off for production builds.

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
I just extracted the kernel and installed it on my Fujitsu U2010 micro netbook and immediately noticed that it fixed a previous problem with Xorg starting up incorrectly - the split screen/wrap-over one. I just need to fix up a few drivers (the U2010 aka U820 uses atheros a/b/g/n) and it'll be a gre...

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
I just tried the minimal btfs image on my joggler and had some odd problems. I couldn't get eth0 to work, even when setting a manual IP address, and when I added an additional partition to the usb stick it wouldn't boot any more. I'm just trying the xubuntu btrfs image to see if it's better. --edit-...

Re: Meego 1.2.80 for Joggler
hmm, I am stuck with a blank screen again, no matter how hard I try I cannot drag down the status bar and regain control. I guess you really do have to have a keyboard. I've been considering hacking my joggler to add additional usb ports for that very purpose. sigh, rebooting caused it to forget the...

Re: Meego 1.2.80 for Joggler
I read that meego1.2 was released, tried to roll my own but couldn't make it boot, found link to the download mentioned here. I partitioned a usb drive as a 600MB fat32 partition, the rest as ext3, formatting them both, unzipped the downloaded meego file. Booted it and it worked! Tried giving it a c...

Re: S/PDIF output
Hi, Has anybody tried adding an S/PDIF output connector hung of the STAC9202? Did you attempt this, and if so any chance of some photos and a write-up please? I intend to use my joggler for precisely this purpose and googling for joggler s/pdif turned up this forum. I would much rather connect the ...
