Hi all - I've got a whole bunch of logitech and squeezebox gear lying around gathering dust for quite some time which I`m offering up in the following order .. pic is attached showing what I`m offering, but there are 3 jogglers, a logitech remote thing, and a couple of streaming boxes I think. I thi...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & SQPOS)
Hey Roobarb - My Jogglers are still ticking over very nicely, they just work great :-) One niggle I have is if on a restart of the unit, it loses the Audio Interface Volume settings - I always set it to Max in the Joggle Settings. So whenever I restart I have to go in and set it back to max, not ver...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
Hey - I saw some chatter in the thread earlier about other peoples players showing up in the player list, didn't think it would effect me since I don't connect to the squeezebox servers, but in fact it has ... I have someone elses Kitchen player listed, a player called Gymage (wish I had a gym), and...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
All my fault, got a bit confused with the re-flashing instructions so in fact I wasn't re-flashing it at all
Ran through it again properly today, and it worked a treat. Thanks a lot for your ongoing support Roobarb!

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Hello All - Have been running SqueezePlay on the base Joggler OS for some time now, but wanted to get SqueezeOS on there. I booted a USB Stick with the sqpos300_of1.img image on, and it installed just fine. I upgraded to the latest SqueezePlay through the app itself. However: 1) I don't get any soun...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Native, Ubuntu & sqpOS)
Hey All, You know what, there are two things that I think would be great to have in Squeeze Player. 1) A "Send To.." button on the now playing screen which when pressed, allows you to choose one of your other devices to throw the currently playing track to, and stop it playing on the curre...

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
Hey all,
Does the native UI have to be running in order for the update to happen? I run the native OS, but dont start the UI component - I just auto-launch SqueezePlay.
Is there anything about this update that would make me want to do the upgrade? (ie. something non UI related).
cheers
Fraser

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Awesome! I will have a play over the weekend. Out of interest, how far can sqpOS be pushed? Are we ever likely to see a YouTube sqpApp or Google Maps sqpApp? Or are all apps limited to the usual UI?

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Oh, and regarding the sound card enablement, the post I got the instructions from in this thead (by MRW) also posted a potentially cleaner / better way of enabling it: # Coerce my soundcard into turning itself on amixer -q -c 0 sset 'Master',0 unmute ./jive Both methods seemed to work for me, maybe ...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
That`d be ace. I`m just using instructions patched together from other posts in this thread, but to re-cycle a few electrons: To enable auto-run on startup: Edit /openpeak/tango/run - launch squeezeplay instead of tango: while true ; do # xinit /openpeak/tango/xinit.sh -- -br xinit /media/squeezepla...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Hey Roobarb Did the in-app upgrade tonight, awesomeness! Love it. The wife has her clock back again now too, thanks for that. My one request for the product backlog would be to take into account those of us who auto-run squeezeplay on power on instead of launching the native UI, a bit of extra jigge...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Cool :) So is the update button going to handle all future updates for us, from within Squeezeplay itself? Also, I`m interested in the "New JogglerNetwork applet" .. what does this actually mean? Can I setup the network settings through Squeezeplay? I was thinking something like this would...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Me again, sorry for the running commentry! GOOD NEWS: Using the USB installer worked a treat and resolved the install issues. Yay! BAD NEWS: What happened to my lovely kitchen clock?! The Digital Clock (Transparent) screensaver is all broken, it just displays the date and time in small letters in th...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
PS - one extra bit of information, I just realised that SqueezePlay would have been running already when I ran the update script. Could that have screwed things up for me? I auto-run squeezeplay on startup instead of the native interface.

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Hey mrw, thanks for the reply. Think you were right. I dont run the native interface anymore (Squeezeplay runs instead by default), but I had a dig around the command line and sure enough "Date" returned the wrong time and reported GMT. I used this to set the timezone: ln -sf /usr/share/zo...
