Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he
I've got PNP 3.038 on my OP'd Joggler. Remind me, please - is it possible to delete / suppress from GUI the multitude of silly games installed with the OP flash? I mean the stuff like Snake, Ball Lines, Mouse Trap, Dress Up etc. The're not listed in applications.xml so I'm at a loss how to tackle th...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he
Just wanted to say thanks to offbeatdave for these tweaks. I've just installed v3.038 over this week's O2/OP image - and it's all working well

Re: Network name for Joggler
My Joggler reports itself as 'atom' in response to TAIL HOSTNAME in /etc. And atom is also quoted in the telnet login dialog - so I guess that must be it. But I can't 'telnet atom' from the Win7 netbook. I wonder if that means a local router capability limitation/dependency? My router is a Netgear D...

Network name for Joggler
How do I name my Joggler so that I can refer to it by a name e.g. Joggler so that I can access it by name and not IP address? Is that a Linux property? Example - if I am at a Windows command line using 'telnet joggler' - rather than "telnet 192.168.1.2" or whatever. I'm sure I could add th...

Re: Enabling Telnet access post May update..
I think that my Joggler lost telnet immediately after the update. But now, for some reason - it does give telnet access. I recall reading on here somewhere that there was a second over-the-air update that happened already, after the non-O2 Openpeak software update. Maybe it was with that update that...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live/Podcast/Categories Player - UPDATED Jun
Thanks. I'll try it again tonight. For what it's worth it was between about 6:15/7:45 that it wasn't working for us.

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live/Podcast/Categories Player - UPDATED Jun
I wasn't able to open any TV streams on the iplayer app this morning? Anyone else having issues? I rebooted tge Joggler and router, plus the 'net was working for browsing - so doesn't appear to be a localised gremlin. Wonder if it's associated with the BBC having released/announced a new version of ...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live/Podcast/Categories Player - UPDATED Jun
Sorted. Good work
I've even got the power/close soft button when displaying full screen (a good thing!) - so this is the first time I can exit from full screen reliably, too. Thanks!

I've tried purging all the iPlayer files, rebooting and reinstalling - but the server appears to be offline

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live/Podcast/Categories Player - UPDATED Jun
The app is great, but I need to feed back that the last two versions (Jun 15 update and the one prior) have given me problems with the exit/power soft button. The prior version (the one *before* when exit was top-left of the viewing screen) worked well for exiting. But the last two versions, Jun 15t...

Re: BBC iPlayer for Joggler (stock OS)
Hi. I've got what's probably a daft question, but hoping it rings a bell with someone. I've installed as per instructions, and the app starts - and channel images are populated. I'm inferring that means the feeds are found and loaded. I can also search and find individual programs. But I can't get e...
