Re: Installing Windows 10 IoT
Can't help regarding the install but I am curious about the dac. What yer got? I was actually thinking of the MH-DA004 Dual ES9038PRO DAC which uses an Amanero USB chipset. Linux support for DSD512 on this chipset is apparently being worked on, but has some issues at the moment (see https://github....

Installing Windows 10 IoT
Has anyone tried installing Windows 10 IoT on a joggler? I have an OpenFrame 2.0 that I'd like to try this on (I need to be able to run a USB audio DAC that only has Windows drivers). The thing I'm most unsure about is how to get it to boot IoT. I would appreciate any tips.

Re: EMGD driver and screen tearing
Thanks for your interest. Below is an image of SqueezePlay with a custom album art that I created to showcase the tearing. I took a picture while pressing the music button which slides the album art and track information across the screen. You can see definite horizontal tearing. I actually installe...

EMGD driver and screen tearing
I'm using EMGD 1.18 on Ubuntu 14.04 32bit, and while 2D and 3D acceleration is working, there is significant tearing when moving graphics horizontally in both 2D and 3D. I'm using the xorg.conf from a LinuxMint distribution for the Joggler from joggler.exotica.org.uk. Has anyone seen anything like t...

Process for bootstrapping a system for Joggler
Hi, I know there are several Linux distributions like Mint, SqueezePlay OS, etc. for the joggler, but I wondered if there was any information as to how these were created? I'd like to setup my own kernel and system and try to get it boot on the Joggler but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've alrea...

Awesome, thanks for the new os. I also am using an OpenFrame 2.0 device, if you can get wireless working that would be great

Custom kernels hanging at initrd screen
Hi, I've compiled a custom older kernel (2.6.14) while in SqueezePlayOS. I have the proper initrd and vmlinuz files, and I have grub setup properly. The problem is, as the system is booting it hangs on a screen like this: [Linux-bzImage setup=0x1c00 size=0x18452b] Video mode: 800X480-32 Frame buffer...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Thanks so much, your commands worked perfectly. The whole reason I needed kernel headers was for compiling OSS. Does anyone know how to force squeezeplay to use OSS and not ALSA? I checked the logs and it's always trying to use ALSA

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Thanks for making SqueezePlay OS available! I have two questions: - Is there somewhere I can download the kernel headers for the 3.2.36.jog2 kernel? - If not, I know I can download a newer kernel and headers from http://birdslikewires.co.uk/download/joggler/kernel/ however I'm not sure what to do af...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Firstly, thanks for making this available. I'm running squeezeplay on top of linux mint, but noticed there is a lag between when I touch something (like internet radio, etc) and when the response happens. The lag seems less when clicking on the back arrow. Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Looking for Joggler in USA
@pete_c: I've been meaning to update this post, thanks for the interest. I did get an OpenFrame 2 device on eBay, and so far am loving it! I can't believe the quality and detail that went into the packaging, that alone probably cost half as much as I paid for it. I've put the Joggler Linux Mint dist...

Re: Looking for Joggler in USA
Ah there it is, thanks! Looks like it was just newly listed. Yeah shipping can be prohibitive, I found one joggler for sale in the uk that had $54 for shipping to the US. I am wondering if they ever did make the web cam interface for these and if they are sitting in some warehouse. One batch was bei...

Re: Looking for Joggler in USA
@pete_c: Thanks for the information, I've been reading some of your other posts about your experience with the openframe devices. Sounds like my best bet is to keep checking ebay, any advice on how to search for it? I tried a dozen or so queries. Maybe the openframe just isn't listed currently.

Re: Looking for Joggler in USA
Interesting, thanks for the heads up on the OpenFrame. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it anywhere on the US ebay, I've tried searching for "openpeak openframe", and even "telio" but no luck. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Looking for Joggler in USA
Hello, I'm looking to by my first Joggler but I live in the USA. Does anyone happen to live in the US and is selling? Or does anyone know of a fairly cheap shipping option to the US? Thanks.
