I suspect that your battery pack can't supply enough current. I had a similar white screen when trying to power the Joggler from a 12V to 5V DC-DC converter. It turned out to be a poor solder joint in the plug, presumably resulting in high resistance. Try checking all your connections. Kevin I made ...

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it is time to get busy with the soldering iron. I'll let you know if it still works after surgery.

Extending the LVDS cable
A quick question. Has anybody successfully extended the cables from the motherboard to the screen? I presume that they are LVDS, backlight power and USB for the touch screen. I know having them too long will result in signal degradation, but was hoping to get away with an extension of about 6 inches...
