Re: Is this possible?
None unfortunately, I went for XP in the end on an SSD but shortly after scrapped the idea due to the constant worry of battery drainage. What is it you're having issues with? I'm sure we could all possibly chip in

Re: Coreboot and SeaBIOS
I couldn't for the life of me get bootsect.exe to work, but luckily i've managed to get it booting into XP and pretty quickly at that :D Did I hear someone say that Linux wouldn't boot from coreboot? I popped a live ubuntu stick into it for a laugh, though not funny in the slightest, and it's worked...

Re: Coreboot and SeaBIOS
Well I corebooted and seabiosed the joggler, which was dead easy might I add. One thing though, I need to revert Mevi's XP build to normal so it'll run on the new BIOS... Can anyone point me in the right direction of what needs doing/replacing?
thanks in advance dudesss

Re: Coreboot and SeaBIOS
@Pete, did you manage to test a USB SSD? I'm going to be doing exactly this with a 64GB MicroSATA 1.8" drive mounted on the back of the joggler in the upcoming week. I still haven't shown you guys my joggler-in-car install, completely different to the one that was done a few years back and poss...

Re: Coreboot and SeaBIOS
Amazing work, one question though: How fast would you say it boots up from complete off to Windows XP through USB using this method? If someone could time it I'd be extremely greatful

Re: Windows XP doesn't boot propperly!
Yeah using your version of XP mate. It's stopped booting into the Stock OS now, so i'm going to try reflashing it. Loads the OPENPEAK logo, screen turns brighter, black screen as if it's going into the OS then it reboots
Fingers crossed it's not bricked, other wise it's going out the window

Windows XP doesn't boot propperly!
In order for me to get Windows XP to boot, I have to make a new image! Then when the joggler turns on, windows installs the drivers and request's a reboot which it doesn't get past the Openpeak logo on? The only thing that has changed since this has started happening is i've soldered a usb cable ont...

Re: Is this possible?
The main concern I have with running android is that I am now running a second monitor in the centre console for a media player that passengers can access without having to put their hands through or near my steering wheel. IF, of course, there is a way to install the drivers for the USB2VGA splitte...

Re: Is this possible?
Just to let everyone who comes across this thread searching for what I was know, this is 100% possible. OBD software works fine, as does using a USB2VGA splitter, or any device that works off USB under windows XP infact :D. Also worth noting that the wireless adapter inside is pretty much a USB wire...

Re: Is this possible?
Thanks for the replies guys. Gone ahead and purchased a Joggler and will start the install soon
My reasons for choosing the Joggler over an android tablet is purely because of the Windows XP functionality, and the ability to use USB devices etc
so GPS is a possibility I suppose

Re: Is this possible?
Thanks for the fast reply. Do you know how long this thing takes to boot up? Sorry for all the questions, only have a few more  Will Android run Torque Pro? Will Android be able to use a bluetooth dongle? What is the fastest booting Windows build? I promise there isn't many more  :D EDIT: ...

Is this possible?
After discovering the amazing o2 joggler at college I fell inlove with it instantly. Why o2 discontinued it is beyond me  My plan is to run Windows XP on a Joggler which will be fibreglassed into the dash of my car somewhere, but my main concern is will any x86 application run on the joggler pr...
