Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
To see what is happening in your joggler i would need a debug log after running tube+. To prevent plugin from updatinh it is possible to trick the addon with entering a higher number in version located under addon7plugin_name/addon.xml but this should be used only if you know what you are doing. As ...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Is your Joggler moded (hardware wise)? Does it starts till grub or. it does not even boot from USB? Or does it boots, but when XBMC tries to start it throws you to the command line? (if this is the cause then debugg log will be needed). Are you connected to the wired ethernet during first boot? Are ...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
You will not loose any settings if you do it by hand. After and if I release a new image then you will loose your settings but it is easy to back them up and restore. I will give you some commands to update but will have to find the time during the day

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I have tested it with Frodo RC1 release and it works, so if you want and know how to, you can update.
I have also used (after adding new repo from BuZZ) and install RC1:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get autoremove
Everything seems to work ok YFI.

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I'd love to try this but I'd like a decent Squeezebox client as well. I know I'm just being greedy. With this in mind there's been a new Linux headless Squeezebox software player developed on the slim server forums, called squeezelite that I'm wondering if it might be possible to install to run in ...

I do not think it is your usb. I think only one dependency has not been updated property. Maybe after reboot or. an hour later everything will work by itself. Check if under addon anything is downloading or. any plugins under update are.

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
No additional stuff will be implemented according to hardware support in general image. If you want something that not work in my image and is not hardware related to O2 Joggler you can try to install/manage/configure it by yourself. On first page all the default passwords are written so you can try...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I think i have managed to improve the startup of XBMC. It seems now much more stable and if xbmc crashes it starts again by itself but did not have a crash yet
If someone would like to try out i can host scripts and write small script so you will basically only run the commands under root account.

Re: Ubuntu / Xubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
Please also build the smallest distro so i can start building new release for XBMC. I will not develop on 12.04 anymore so i will wait for 12.10 as i'm tight on time atm. The biggest trouble in 12.04 is network manager (to get easy user friendly interface for users) and graphic drivers (slightly uns...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Check the new xsqueeze plugin. It should auto update and in config you must select touch screen support. It has some artifacts but it should work. Also check the original xbmc forum about the progress on xsqueeze.

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Yes reboot always seem to leave white line but it is not a problem since it reboots normally. Otherwise the next version will have also shutdown which works (if you want to power off the device).

However I have made a list of changes and fixes that has to be...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
What do you want to tell with this? LMS now has a built in DNLA client but XBMC doesn't seem to want to pick it up :-( which is a shame as that would be a very simple solution!! You can control Xsqueeze on XBMC from LMS if you meant that. You have to enable in XBMC under settings/network/Allow progr...
