Is there any chance that this would work on the Joggler ?
I have seen an old Netbook remix distro knocking about for the Joggler and wondered if this would work ?

the old ubuntu netbook launcher was much better than unity on the joggler. if people might use this, I don't mind pushing out an image.

Ubuntu Netbook Remix - now there's a blast from the past! I once ran it on my old Acer netbook but eventually put the desktop edition on it. I think a UNR distro for the Joggler would be an excellent idea!

i know this distro well! - easypeasy - i installed it on some kidproof netbooks (zoostorm fizzbook) for my son and wife as windows running on it was too slow (my 1 year old son managed to break a nicer samsung nc10). very wife friendly distro. big icons for firefox, skype etc. got the old netbooks for around £60 from ebay and great for iplayer/facebook/youtubing

as far as i know this distro has not been updated in ages however. and i just went onto the website and it said 1.6 still which is a very old version. so on my own laptops i'm using mint instead as a lot of functionality missing with this distro (couldn't get external drives formatted in ntfs working for example which was a shame when ripping to an external usb hard drive)

thanks yeh. I just looked at that on their blog - http://www.geteasypeasy.com/blog/ - but its gnome3 shell based, which is going to be a no-go really on the current emgd graphics drivers.

It's a couple of years old but presumably this would still work.
