Inaccurate Touchscreen

Hello all

I primarily use SqueezeplayOS on my Joggler these days, and its main use is a replacement for my aging alarm clock (talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a nut! :P). I've noticed however that the menu responses can be inaccurate; it'll select the menu above the one I pressed or it just fails to open the menu unless I press on a different part of the screen.

I have noticed that under other OS' it's a little "jittery", but it's usually usable (though I switched from other OS' as few of them are very finger-friendly - even JoliOS).

Is this normal for Linux? I haven't tried the default OS/PnP in a while, and won't do until the issues with the new firmware are resolved. Every time I tried to calibrate the screen in other versions of Linux it made the touchscreen even more inaccurate, and left me with a dead-zone around the edge of the screen.

Firmware issues with stock OS are resolved. Get the final working version from http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewto ... 120#p10836

You can tell I don't keep my eye on the ball around here :P. Cheers for the link, I'll take a look. SqueezeplayOS is working pretty well for me as the default OS at the moment, but I'll take a look at this and PnP again.

Not sure it'll solve the issues with screen accuracy, though...
