Just a bit of downtime to be expected today as I shuffle things around a bit, so SqueezePlay updates won't work and the website will be unavailable.
Nothing to worry about, will hopefully all be fine by 5pm.

Typically, the day I want to make changes to my nameservers, 123reg's DNS goes up in a DDOS-shaped cloud of smoke.

After previous large 123reg outtages, I moved all my names from there. In terms of a nice place to manage the dns from even if your names are with 123-reg -

Thanks, BuZz - I had an account with them that I had completely forgotten about. Nameservers are now switched. Once it's propagated I should be IPv6 happy as well!

yeh they are good. lots of geographically separated nameservers too - and of course ipv6, api for updating a dynamic ip like dyndns etc, and of course their ipv6 tunnels which I use to have ipv6 at home.

I should sort out one of their tunnels for my home access. That's what I originally signed up for, but never got around to sorting it out.
Think I should be mostly back online now - I see updates coming through from SqueezePlay users, so things must be getting back on track!

Yes, everything seems to be working again, except much quicker than before!
