Has the last O2 update failed for anyone else?

I noticed the other day that my Joggler was blank. Screen taps did'nt resurrect it so unplugged it and went to work.

I've since found out about the recent update to remove O2 links etc and install new apps, but this appears to have failed on my device.

I have posted a video here to show what is happening, and I'm unsure what to do next as I don't fancy the technical legwork required to install a new os on the device, as I'm not skilled in these things.

Should I wait and see if it resolves itself (I've seen something somewhere about the 18th May) or bite the bullet and try to get it back looking like it did before?

Any simple advice appreciated.

It seems to cause crashing Jogglers sometimes. :(

To recover, see the thread at http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=2&t=120 or go direct to http://birdslikewires.co.uk

Thanks offbeatdave, I will try to overcome my reservations and give it a go.

With baby in arms managed to reboot my device. See rather prolonged video here for anyone wanting to see what happens if they follow the guidance and reflash their device. Thanks again to offbeatdave, roobarb and birdslikewires.

Now, what else can I do with it?

Great question! My contribution to the forum is in my signature, but you can do far more than boring old XP. Android, Linux, PNP III, squeezebox OS.
